I believe the latest episode was the best one so far, I both cried and laughed during Sherlock's speech. I watched it again today with my mom and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
  2. cruel-crucible

I had a really long comment all typed up with examples and stuff, but I figured you guys wouldn't really care anyway, so I'm just gonna say - to each their own. You may dig the screams/growls that other people hate, and vice-versa, it's as simple as that.
  3. cruel-crucible

THAT is a wonderful setlist!!! I'd be perfectly satisfied with that, it includes all the new songs I like the most and since it has One More, Holmgard, Torches, Stand Up and Rasputin, it's great. Though I'm surprised there's no Varangian Guard. And I'd love to hear Sahti-Waari Edit: Just checked the setlists from Finland and they played Rex Regi Rebellis at some concerts. That would be nice, too. But maybe they'll come up with an entirely different setlist for this tour?
  4. cruel-crucible

Yes, I'm sure they'll be especially enjoyable live. Will do! I just hope they'll play a lot of songs from Battle Metal... I wonder if the accordion will play as a backing track? They need it for their older songs... and they can't NOT play those songs. I just know I'm gonna enjoy it a lot, Mathias seems to be amazingly skilled at singing live and dnfksajdbvak Olli is a sight to behold, that goddamn violin God >.<

^ I LOVE IT. Haven't seen anything this enetertaining for a while. I'm starting to love TURISAS2013. Like, I'm seriously digging the album right now. When I first heard it, it was very "meh" for me and there were maybe 2 songs I really liked. Now, though... I admit I'm looking forward to their concert even more thanks to the album! IDK if I got used to it or it's a sort of an acquired taste, but oh well, I like it now. It's good in its own way.
  6. FOCUS in FLAC is 362MB so it's gonna take a while :/

I'm doing 失翼????域 first, so you'll have something to entertain yourself with while you wait for FOCUS, haha.

  7. cruel-crucible

I always start with the album where the first song I liked came from and then it's usually a random process XD
  8. cruel-crucible

My Latvian classmate who lives in Estonia got me hooked on Metsatöll, they're pretty cool.
  9. Been gone for a while, but I'm back with some goodies for everyone... if they haven't been shared yet, that is.

  11. cruel-crucible

The only unfinished series I'm currently following are Iiki no Ki Claymore Tatsugaku Letra I ocassionally re-read some other mangas, especially the ones by Yuki Kaori 'cause she's pretty much my manga Goddess.
  12. Finally might've found someone who'd go to Copenhell with me yey

  13. cruel-crucible

    Månegarm - Hemfärd
  14. cruel-crucible

The Good: Týr - Valkyrja (Delicious album. The Pantera and Iron Maiden covers are wonderful, too.) Amon Amarth - Deceiver of the Gods (Many people are bandwagoning hate on this one, but I don't get it, I found it absolutely amazing. The songs have awesome intros and the lyrics are great as well.) Imagine Dragons - Night Visions (Veeeery enjoyable.) ^ no effort whatsoever put into making this album. Very sad 'cause I love Turisas. Jupiter - CLASSICAL ELEMENT (I had expected another Versailles, even something better, but there's not a single track which has left impression on me. Am I doing something wrong?) Bullet For My Valentine - Temper Temper (I am so sorry to include this 'cause I really love this band, but this album is bad. Bad.) The "Meh" Månegarm - Legions of the North (Not bad, but weaker than the previous ones. Also, English lyrics - didn't bother me exactly, but I do prefer Swedish.) I'm sorry for only one Japanese release, but I'm so behind on most bands I care about. I don't have a formed opinion about many releases yet. Might update this later. Edit: Just noticed this and it's made me happy. I've been hearing/reading so much shit on how it "sucked" that I was beginning to feel lonely in the ILOVETHISALBUM-land.
  15. cruel-crucible

The thing is, at least 80% of these "gems" release just a bunch of demo tapes and then disappear forever into the underground black metal oblivion. Probably exactly because they couldn't get signed :/
  16. cruel-crucible

Definitely try to meet up with #1 first. But in the end, it all comes down to what you're looking for. If you want your partner to be your best friend as well, it most likely won't work out with #2 in the long run. You'll probably end up being overwhelmed by your differences and will get tired of the compromises. So just try meeting with #1, see how that goes. If it's not what you're looking for, I'd actually suggest searching for a third option. I honestly don't think you'll be happy with #2 :/
  17. cruel-crucible

Now this sucks quite a bit.
  18. "Bodil" is such a stupid name for a storm/hurricane. Storms/hurricanes are stupid as well.

well, ours is called "Xaver"... sounds either like a classy sci-fi-supervillain or a nazi inbred bastard-child

HAHAHA. Sweden beat us all, "Sven" is a cool name :<

OH DEAR. NORWAY. Can I come live with you? I promise I won't be a bother, I just need a couch to sleep on and a shower, I'd even cook for you >.< Maaan, Norway. Ah. Feels. I'll get there one day. I will. It's funny 'cause in the written form Danish is very similar to Norwegian. Actually, when I try to pronounce the actual words, it comes off sounding more Norwegian than Danish. All the silent vowels and stuff, so bothersome. To me, Danish sounds like a drunk German with a Dutch accent speaking Norwegian (bokmål is actually close to the old Danish, though, right? So it's kinda Danish. But it's called Norwegian. And sounds better than actual Danish.). Yes, I've heard that a lot of Norwegians and Swedes come to Copenhagen for concerts. The things is, though, Norway, Sweden and Finland are known to be the countries of metal music, whereas Denmark is more of a rock country. I wonder if that's why I have only two Danish friends who actually listen to metal (and it's black metal in both cases). To get more OT: Since I've already brought them up, any thoughts on the latest Turisas album?
  20. cruel-crucible

I love Denmark! I would certainly prefer Sweden or Norway because of the weather, nature and the language (I like cold, forests and mountains, and Danish is a pain to pronounce), but as a country, Denmark is wonderful. And the education is free. I live directly in Copenhagen, so most of the time I can be sure to catch my favorite metal bands performing here, which is perfect. I was actually wondering whether to go to a Turisas concert in February or not. I'd love to see them (even though the last album sucked balls), but money is tight :/ Where are you from, Bear?
  21. cruel-crucible

I'm not really into post-stuff, there are only two bands I like. And both happen to be Icelandic. Sigur Rós - yup. Pretty popular, I guess. There are some songs which are kinda "eeeh" for me, but majority is really enjoyable. Sólstafir - now, this is metal and not rock, but I would recommend them nonetheless. It's not a pure post-music, it's something very special. I haven't found a single band even slightly similar to Sólstafir. If anyone knows about such band(s), please, do tell me. I love Sólstafir a lot.

Amon Amarth I HAVE NO PICTURES BUT THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE Seriously. They had Hell and Carcass as guests which were really amazing as well, but daaamnnnn, Amon Amarth sure know how to create the best show. Johan was his typical smiling self (I swear I haven't seen any other death metal vocalist smile that much) and his skills at stirring the crowd were masterful. He was speaking Swedish, so I could understand only some bits of what he said. They played all the fan favorites plus four songs from the new album. I was in the second row and made a lot of eye contact with Olavi who actually even tried to give me a pick, but everyone around me was taller (damned Viking blood) and they snatched it Olavi even gave me an apologetic smile All in all, it was frikkin perfect, I love these Swedes to bits. I wish I could just attend every single one of their concerts. The only "meh" thing was when someone spilled some beer on my head. It was quite refreshing at first, but now I just stink like a pig. Also, one of the guys in front of me looked like Heath Ledger. No kidding.
  23. I'm so hyped up by the Amon Amarth concert I just came from that I don't even feel like listening to DIAURA's FOCUS now D:
