I live in Poland and im being paid the lowest legal pay , recalculating this to dollars its 2,50 dollar per hour . THe monthly pay is barely enough to pay the rent and other bills like electicity , water and so on , and almost nothing is left for living . The only thing cheap in this fukin dumb country is the internet , and its the only good thing in a life worth totally nothing .

Im rather a little more sceptic as i heard its a lot ecchi and lately school life with ecchi and comedy animes do tend to be repeatable and with most time no story , like in Mayo Chiki . Ecchi is good when the story clicks with me . Also i forgot to mention in the just ended watching list that ive ended Chuunibyou , and i have to say it was one of the best animes ive watched if it goes for the love romance plot and comedy , also it was probably the first anime i saw that did not end with a confession , but did go to the post-confession part , more anime should have this .

    Currently Watching
Log Horizon 2 , its interesting like SAO .
Kantai Collection - im gonna withheld my opinion for now , but it seems like its gonna be nothing else than fanservice . Ive hoped they go for some story but the first episode does not promise much .
Aldnoah Zero 2 , still waiting for first episode but i already can tell its gonna be a good one like the first one , Slaine i hope you fukin die in the first episode .
Detective Conan , probably one of the best shows ever , the fact that its still running and each new movie makes more cash than the last one just shows how popular it is , also the story and characters are just awesome .
Nanatsu no Taizai , so much overpowered characters here , like the animation and characters , but ive just started this so cant say much bout the story .
    Just ended watching
Mayo Chiki - ive just ended this one , the concept was interesting but they failed miserably only a 5/10 score for this as it does not even have a proper ending .
Mushibugyou , man this was so great just ended watching this a second time when ive just watched it for the first time a 2 weeks ago , this anime has some really nice action and interesting story and characters , altough i would love to see a second season i already know it want happen as the anime industry cares only for second seasons of boring ecchi fanservice shows .
GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) for the 5th time , this show is never getting to boring and never gets to old . Its one of those that i like to rewatch every now and then cause it sooo goddamn good .
    Planning to watch
    Sakurasou Pet no Kanojo

You cant take what he wrote for serious , there are a hell lot of ppl who started to listen to Babymetal because of the ppl who work on composing those songs , not just cause there are 3 cute girls . There is even a song composed by Yuyoyuppe , not to mention im more interested in seeing their live DVD's especially cause of their new Kami band members like Leda and Takayoshi Ohmura , not to mention Ryo from Blood Stain Child who was one of the former Kami .

You guys still miss one vital point , that is not only my opinion but a lot of well known music criticists and reportes often talk about this . A bands main income should never be CD's , they are just a medium and means for promoting the band nothing else , a bands main income shoule be live performances , tours , festival appearances and other such stuff . To many bands in this day and age forget about it or are to lazy , they release a CD do a short tour and expect to get milions by sitting on their asses doing nothing more . Look at bands like Crossfaith , they playing concerts nonstop , they last album was even released when they where in the middle of a tour . What about Supe that was a band for 6 years before releasing first CD and they still got around very good . There are so many bands that dont release anything , yet they get a lot of cash from live shows and can live a good live from that .

This is one of the best VK and Hard Rock albums this year and will probably be on my personal top 10 on the first place in both categories , especially cause this year just lacks a good hard rock album at least as long as B'z will not surprise us with something while getting out from their slumber .

I know there is a topic about a radio , but radios need a lot legal issues to be taken care , especially cause a radio is easier to track by the anti piracy organizations , and making a radio server is like calling out to them "come and get me" , closed community podcats on the other hands dont differ from uploading albums .

kurenaishineek got a reaction from Tetora in Glory Hill - Good Loser
As someone mentioned that i should write some more reviews im making this happen right here and right now .

Glory Hill is 4 piece Pop Punk band from Okazaki City in Aichi Prefecture . They are around from 2005 and as of today they released 7 singles , 2 mini albums and 4 albums as Indie Band and 2 singles and 1 album as Major Band . And that 1 album is the one im gonna review here . Released on 14th may this year , their first and debut album as Major Band called "Good Loser" .
Seriously i dont know where to start this review . The band did not change much from the Indie era , altough i have to say most songs have a little better compositions , they still the good old happy go lucky Pop Punk band but with a little bit of Melodic Hardcore touch here and there . The album opens up with "Now or Never!!" a freaking good song , fast , melodic , punkish , hell yeah very upbeat song , really good if you need some postivie energy , the song is the essence of this , not to mention this solo , ive heard a lot bands playing Pop Punk from Japan recently , but i did not heard a solo that would hit me that good . The next two songs , "Take my Word" and "Asterisk" , are very typical for this genre , melodic , happy sounding less aggressive than the opener , but still managing to deliver what this kind of music should deliver , a good positive vibe . Its worth to mention that "Asterisk" has parts sung in japanese , cause mostly they use the typical engrish thats well known by all listeners of japanese music , not to mention that this song reminds me of Flow . The 4th song called "Shut up and Dance" opens up with Disco beat than jumping into punkish riffs yet with some of the danceish vibe still staying in the song , the further in the album the more this starts sounding more like an american Pop Punk band .
I could go around writing about all the songs in this manner but it would take some time and im starting to get sleepy , also for this kind of album writing about each song is kinda ... hard , its not like are songs are repeatable , cause altough ive had this feeling on their earlier albums i did not have this here . But this genre is the essence of easy non technical music , easy for the ears , open for a big audience , as said earlier very melodic and upbeat , a truly mainstream rock band , and altough some ppl might have issues with the engrish lyrics , they still are worth at least a try and i promise you that this will be one of the best bands in this genre you will listen to .
Summarizing this up , if you like this kind of happy upbeat music and dont mind engrish then its your thing , ive seriously had a lot of fun listening to this album , lots of good vibes , melodies and riffs reminding me of Sum 41 and Blink 182 that etched themselves easy in my mind , also the songs are so addictive that i will hum them for some time now . My recommendation .
Score : 8/10 for being one of the best Pop Punk releases this year , and being the best album in their history .(As i am not used to do a 1 star to 5 star rating but from 1 to 10 ill stick to this)

kurenaishineek reacted to relentless in Sadie - Gangsta
When I first read the title of this album, I couldn't believe my eyes. Looking at the tracklisting, I was optimistic to hear some bizarre metal, pop, and rap fusion with titles such as "MODE OF GANGSTA", "WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUND", "SHOOT THE TARGETS HIDDEN IN YOUR MIND", and "RIZE A FLAG". What we get, is far more disappointing in many ways that make this one of the worst VK releases of recent memory. In the past I have been critical of girugamesh, GazettE, Dir en grey, and 12012; but in each of their cases they do things I find to be interesting and a reason to bring me back to try out another release -- Sadie is a completely different story. With GANGSTA, they have shown that even at their worst there is nothing redeemable about the music they are (currently) making.

My issues are broken down into 5 main points:

    1. Songs are too long (your average track clocks in over 4 minutes)
    2. The length of these tracks are, across the entire album, unwarranted
    3. Uninspiring repetition with no sign of variation or development
    4. Songs that even in their length, go nowhere
    5. Awkward track placement, flow, and a general lack of cohesion as an album

Song length and repetition - In many cases the length of a song doesn't factor into my like/dislike for an album; but Sadie makes an exception. Whether it's a song based off the same chord progression played over and over again for 6+ minutes (MESSAGE FROM HERE), or a song that continuously bounces from a Slipknot/GazettE copy-cat section to a pop punk chorus with no change (HATE ME OR LOVE ME), the album would have benefited from sections cut from each song without any detriment to the presentation. I'm not kidding: if each song was condensed to 2.5 minutes, no content would be missing aside from repeated sections that show up nearly 5 times already. This is perhaps the biggest problem with this album: the length of it and its tracks are unwarranted. There's no reason for it other than to fill space.

Uninspired repetition and songs that go nowhere - Tied into what was said above, none of these songs ever break from their conventional mold to try anything different. You get the same choruses and verses as featured in every Sadie album before this, and tracks that will abandon ideas and hop to a new one in hope of finding something good. A song is based off of the most generic riff (and sticks with it) throughout the song (RIZE A FLAG), a song throws in spoken word sections that destroys momentum (THE NEVER), and another includes a screeching synth that goes from drowning out the band to being an afterthought in the background (HOWLING). The worst of this problem would be the track SHOOT THE TARGETS IN YOUR MIND that stops on multiple occasions, goes nowhere with each presented progression, and relies on one of the first sections to close the song after disposing of useless riff after useless riff that do nothing but bring you to the next chorus, verse, bridge, or...breakdown....

Awkward track placement and flow - Can someone tell me what the hell a track like Gesshoku is doing between SHOOT THE TARGETS IN YOUR MIND and TOKYO GYPSY? Those songs have more business being on their own release than on this album as those are the only two tracks that sound alike and everything else sounds completely different from them. One minute you get something that sounds like it's from a Slipknot demo, then a soft ballad or rock song with a clap track and synth. This album doesn't have the focus that their older releases did: there's no direction. At this point it feels like Saide are throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what interests them the most.

Everything is wrong with this album. Poorly titled, poorly structured, poorly written, and just plain too long.

    0/10

Also DarkWater you forgetting some big things here ,
1st they are not visual kei anymore so saying where are the vk elements is kinda out of place .
2nd they a mainstream rock band , so getting pop elements in their music is standard , and should be expected .
3rd There is no such thing as real rock , its just something made up by ppl who want all rock bands to sound as they think true rock should sound , but there are many rock subgenres .
4th metal can be soft as well , melodic power metal bands sometimes are not even tagged by ppl as metal cause they dont sound that metal , there are also bands who play atmospheric symphonic metal that are also tagges as rock . Also if you would think about oldschool heavy metal that could be what you mean by true metal , than you would notice that it was a lot more softer than todays heavy metal , sounding more like todays hard rock bands .

And BTW if you want to use phrases like real metal and real rock and than go saying nu metal was better , than its hard to take you seriously . People who would say real metal would be those hardheaded metalfanatics who say only the oldschool metal genres are true and all the new ones are crap . Artist: girugamesh EP: Gravitation Score: After a few years of borderline radio-friendly stagnation, Girugamesh have hit back with quite possibly their best release yet.
After a few years of borderline radio-friendly stagnation, Girugamesh have hit back with quite possibly their best release yet. Last year's Monster symbolised a beacon of hope for both fans and the band. The aggression was back, the heaviness was back, Girugamesh was back. Although steeped in pop-sensibilities at times, the album took a 180 from pop to electronic metalcore, leaving the burning wrecks of Now and Go far behind.

It's been a year since their last full-length Monster, and Gravitation not only keeps this reclaimed heaviness in place but polishes it to perfection. Kicking off with their hardest song to date, 'Go Ahead' lures you in with gentle tones before ripping your head off. Satoshi's transition from gentle crooning to terrifying growls, for example, are nothing short of frisson worthy. Having the rawest vocals, the hardest breakdown, and the most memorable chorus, this song characterises the EP and spearheads their new sound. As a song that can only be described with superlatives, 'Go Ahead' highlights how Gravitation has led the band to a new level of heaviness. This permeates throughout the EP. While 'Reflection' displays a hard metalcore influence, for instance, 'Vortex' goes beyond that, opting for a thrashy deathcore vibe; a massive departure from Go in many respects.

I thought it would let up at some point but the whole EP is like this; every time a lull in the intensity is expected, it continues its bombardment of chunky riffs and pleasantly incessant drumming. This is exemplified best in 'Reflection' where Satoshi tries to do some severe damage to his throat...in the best possible way. They could have included a slower, gentler track to give the listener a breather, but instead they opted for five heavy songs varying in loudness and intensity. The infectious electronic elements and catchy vocals which have characterised their more recent efforts are used to full effect here, modernising their previous sound and making each track as memorable as the last. All of these elements culminate in 'Vortex' which, replete with screams, riff-heavy guitar work and double-bass pedaling, is the best way to end Gravitation: in the same loud and exciting way in which it started, exuding a confidence not found on their older material. This is the Girugamesh we wanted after Music and the band sure as hell knows it.

By cramming everything their fans love about them into one neat package, Girugamesh has created their best effort yet. Contrary to more recent releases, the intensity and loudness of their old sound is back and better than ever. While taking a new form reflective of some current "-core" genres, classic Girugamesh permeates to the point where they might win their older fanbase back.

Upon listening to Gravitation it's clear that Girugamesh are back and louder, heavier and better than ever!

Maybe ill write my own review later , when i get the ones for the fanzine done and will have some spare time .

kurenaishineek got a reaction from ShanethVarosa in Girugamesh - Gravitation
They are not j-core , j-core is techno , its a japanese version of hardcore trance . Girgamesh new style is a mix of alternative metal riffs and drums , with modern rock elements and melodies . Also screamo is a hardcore punk subgenre , so no its far from that .
