Yes and No. Yes that we might be jaded. No because well, like has been said, Most people only appreciate the music that they listen to when they are growing up and music that they heard from then on. And they called those as the best era of music because they were there being a part of the history. Though in actuality, music has been like fashion, it goes in circles. There is no new genres being created today, not anymore and those who say there are must be hallucinating. Cos the only thing that being created are sub genres that came from one roots or more. Since what current artists did today is reinvent sounds that exists and combine it with some other sounds, whether it from the main roots or from another sub genres and making it sounds unique, "original'" and "new". And then it became another sub genres from their roots, whether it is rock, folk, pop, rap or disco. To make it simple, it is like when one making a dough. It came from the same ingredients, from that dough, we can make it into cakes, many kinds of cakes with different method of preparation, icing and taste and name. Which means people will hear or is actually hearing the same old shit with more styles into it. So that it doesn't sound too basic like when it was originally sang/created anymore.

Well, predictable, Manson as a band is more like jam session thing than real band. People come and go just like that. The only fixed member is Manson himself, and maybe Twiggy too. My last grief was when Gacy departing. I'll take it easy after that. I think the triptych formation with Gacy, Fish and 5 was the best ever, or at least for me.

funny, i always think that most of the VK bands that mostly did dirty words for cool points than Western bands. I mean, just listen to 90% of TOXIC, man! As far as cussing can go, i can deal with it if it fits with the context. Say a song that having it's lyrics expressing some stress or depressed feelings. It is only natural for someone irl to cuss often in this kind of situation. So their listeners may able to relate with the song much better and release their own stress by singing along, than songs that doing it diplomatically or lulz poetic. Though some of them just doing it for the lulz, despite the angry mood. i.e this song You just have to know the nature of the lyrics is all. Which is why lyrics is important in most of non instrumental music.

yes, it is still important part for me. Particularly Western music, in whatever language. Not so much attention to Asian lyrics tbh, cos mostly it is written in poorly or cheesy approach. Kinda dumbed down the whole thing for me. Also, learning languages is one of my hobby. So lyrics is a helpful part to know a word spelled correctly. If i only want to hear just music, and how music arranged, i would go with world music, classics or new age for that matter. These genres have a better support to these kind of audiences. Or else all these bands and groups and soloist would not bother translate their music into words. To some artists it also a way to channel their stress or anything they feel. It is a theraphy to some. Plus singing along to a song is total fun, no matter how bad your vocal are. Even to instrumentals, we still hum the tunes along. It is only natural proof.

So maybe that rumor of their vocalist departing can be denied now right? Maybe Eros (a.k.a Ice?) will concentrate to his new project while Xodiack is in hiatus. Any news if they were dropped by Starwave or are they still with them?

as for telephone/celly problems. if you have quad band or penta band fone, you need not to worry, it will working there. because Japan have different radio wave for their cellphone (2100 band) and most part of the world did not use it. all you need to do is to buy local SIM card there and you're set. yes the price will be high due to roaming fee. but if you have locked fone, ask your provider if they have service on that part of the world. usually the major carriers have partners all around the world. also, currently there is news that radiation issue is getting more serious. the Japanese government have to stop their rice export because of this. Maybe you may want to consider this or if you like to reschedule.
