They will never shut down the website, that is their main promotion for abroad audience. And they knew for sure their main income are from abroad fans. Sorry to be bitchy! I understood this behaviour, it always been like that, hence the "fanclub only show/merchandise" in almost every official fan clubs in Japan. The exclusivity is what they like to aim than anything else.

None of us really know what goes into releasing a record. It well come out when it fucking comes out and CV has said they will promote the album so there is no reason to worry. Whenever we start getting information like tracklisting and album art, I would give it about a month or two from then and the album will drop. I do remember him saying something about wanting to distribute it or release it differently though. So, who really knows? I think it would be cool if it was available to buy on tour before it hits the shelves in stores also. You know, the Tour edition thing. And to listen them LIVE first may help to judge the new songs with justice. Manson music mostly are sounds much better when brought Live.

As someone who were lived in INA and been a head admin of a wellknown forum (before we freezed the project) there, i can say for sure that kind of fandoms are much more common than the ones who sees it as abnormal or shame. Even local bands in the scenes who are influenced by particular artists can go as far as being a copy carbon (from fashion style to stage act)of the band they take as role model as, say X-Shibuya for easiest examples (who also became popular right now thanks to his vocalist who using his GF influence, she is the daughter of famous Singer in that country.) They are swooned over many DEG fangirls and boys cos their vocalist did everything that Kyo did on stage, even to the chest scratching parts and some other shit like that, this is really happening! LOL

Manson have already became quite secretive with promo starting GAOG era actually, to EMDM, THEOL and now BV era. When i look back, it was just pretty similiar situation actually during GAOG. The only major news was outside his musical spectrum. Especially his most highlighted relationship and divorce with Ditta. And his paintings and the now shelved movie project, Phantasmagoria. And the fans were always to find the updates from wherever, even the secret websites for promotion purpose since the beginning. That is one thing i really like and great from the community. I always see Manson fans are unspoiled and seldom to be spoon fed if not necessary. The relationship between them and Manson is weird but mutual nevertheless. Though i wasn't really a fan of those second triptych era, mainly because of unhappiness with Twiggy and 5 departures in 4 years span, which i personally considered as bad years for MM; but i remain following every updates. That's all i can add for now.

Since they have been reported writing lots of music these days maybe not so surprising. Though i understand the feeling you have there. I am guessing there may be at least 2-3 songs from TOXIC sessions that are not so fit in with the mood or direction of the album that may works for this upcoming one. Either it is too soft or too heavy.

They're O.K, i didn't hear much of them after Oracle. In fact, Oracle is the last CD of them that i bought. I remember hearing the remake of Run Like Hell by them on a radio one night. And swooned by it, and i bought SPIT and Oracle the next day.
