his style of singing is a lot better here than in Ayabie. But the music ranged from boring lame crap to pretty good. Idk, nothing him or the other four are doing is radically different so Idek why they had to break up, lol

I never said anything about this, because often my kneejerk reactions to MUCC's new stuff isn't what holds up over time. Except for Kyuutai, that did, lol. It seems like people either hated or loved this album, which is weird, because I have friends that are kind of "old-MUCC" biased and THEY thought it was really great. But tbh, I thought it was pretty boring. I can't work up stronger feelings than that in either direction, lol. Still like Zeroshiki and Freesia, but vastly preferred the single version of Falling Down, so that doesn't really get points either. Everything else just kind of bored me, and it has rather sad replay value to boot. If I wanted this sort of music, I think I'd listen to iLL. =/

Yes indeed. I recently got into Jason Zhang (wonderful voice), a few Taiwan indie bands, io, Chemical Monkey, and Champion. Also, Sound Fragment, a shoegaze band, and Elf Fatima, which is kind of similar, but from HK. Off-hand I can't think of anything similar to SHR, lol. I don't think I cared for The SuperVC, and I've never heard of the last one, do they have a Chinese name too?

i only care about half the bands on both sides, so the only two I really cared about anyone mangling was Winter, Again and Storm. Ichini did a fine job of....completely copying it, lol. And I guess that's fine, since they could have really ruined it I guess. I thought Lolita23q did a good job too, and their cover was a little more imaginative. I was surprised that the vocals were so good, I really expected lameness there. I liked Heidi's song, dgaf whether it did the original justice because I don't like Hide anyway. I kinda lol'd at the La'cryma cover bc he def has that annoying girly voice. Was surprised that DuelJewel didn't completely destroy the BT song. Kinda liked LOST ASH, might check them out further. Merry song, lol, might as well cover Diru at this point, is all I'm gonna say. :x Not really offended by NoGod's cover, and I like Siam Shade and dislike NoGod. Ando was fine too, the guy's voice is actually more tolerable than Hakuei's, lol. I liked Mix Speakers', but I might as well say I've never heard the original and I generally like Mix Speakers. Same with Doremidan. As for Matenrou Opera....lol. I have zero love for X, and I don't like MO very much either, but congrats to them for making an X song into something that doesn't make me want to punch things.

I actually liked this a lot better than NOW. NOW was a rehash of the previous two albums, this is new and different. Sure, it's poppy, but I have nothing against pop, so it doesn't really bother me, lol.

English is my first language. I can understand French pretty well, but I never writer or speak it. I know some Japanese and am currently studying it, same with Cantonese. I also know a tiny bit of Mandarin. Would like to learn Finnish and Gaelic someday, lol

The other one looks cooler and has CUSTOM TITLES back, but all the old topics all over the place are annoying and Idk who any of the mods are. The titles here are lame (I'm pretty sure we were promised the custom ones earlier) and the skin could be less boring, but obviously it's current, doesn't have a general "dead" feeling and the mods are obviously cool. Buh. I don't want to be switching forever, how annoying
