I never doubted this project. Will be so excited to receive this album!
  2. sebbivism

Cool! But am I blind or why can't I found their name on the poster?
  3. diva-rin, Thank you for the links! Now I know the members names, that's something! Yeah, As I am a Eurovision-nerd, the dream is too have all these countries that has right to apply EBU, to attend the Eurovision (I'm thinking of Kazahkstan, Marocco, Libanon, Tunisia etc etc) When Armenia and Azerbaijan attended for the first time, I though it was really cool because that is countries you really never heard of before, and as I am interesting in geography, and foreign music, languages and culture (daah) I thought it was a big deal when Eurovision went to Baku! So cool!! So... I found KESH YOU on their official YouTube-channel, but something that bugs me is that they uploaded four music videos on the same date in December 2013.. How old are these songs really? I mean what is the original release date? I can't read kazakh cyrillic, I barely can transcript regular Russian cyrillic (some characters are hard to remember how to transcript/understand) Actually, I'm interested in Kazakhstan, because that's a country that you don't know much about, and that makes me excited and really would travel there sometime. I heard Astana and Almaty is like Dubai, they're building skyscrapers like crazy, is it true? Never thought this kind of music and culture was avaliable in Kazakhstan.. I thought they were poor there (sorry). I know K-pop bands has had performances there, and that Ukrainian pop group VIA Gra is popular there Regarding the alphabet! I actually heard several years ago they wanted to switch from Cyrillic to Latin, but it was a debate about it dividing the country because of strong opinions for and against it... I think it's a good choice to switch to Latin (I actually think Macedonia/Serbia/Bulgaria should do the same) although I actually think cyrillic characters are really cool! I mean, Azerbaijan has latin alphabeth, why wouldn't it work in Kazakhstan?
  4. Hey, I just now randomly on YouTube found a really great popgroup from Kazakhstan called KESH YOU (КешYou) and when I wanted to google them I just couldn't find any information about them. No official hompage, no wikipedia...NOTHING! As I am a "perfectionist" wanting to know basic stuff about a band/artist I discover, I'm going crazy here. So I'm wondering, do we have users on this forum from Kazakhstan who could help me find info about this group?? Seriously, this band is better and hotter than any K-pop out there. Since western people don't hear from these kind of countries (in fact, we know NOTHING about them) I'm quite shocked and surprised that countries like Kazakhstan has got these kind of pop music and good looking female singers. I seriously thought they only watched and listened to Russian (or ex Soviet area) music and TV-shows. It amazed me too see Kazakh video (and audio) production is as high quality as western (and asian) music. I seriously couldn't expect HD-recorded music videos. Wow, this is really good, and they're really handsome! (If this song were in English, I would seriously think they were South Korean...) 2ND VIDEO makes me think directly of Eurovision Song Contest-material! If Kazakstan would participate in Eurovision Song Contest, I would seriously see potential of a Kazakh victory. Latest song from 2014

Actually, UNIVERSAL MUSIC only cash-in on one of the two best-of albums, the other one is released by FWD (the new FREE-WILL) But I agree, I don't expect them being back soon. Releasing best-of albums, especially two of them is a sign they might be gone a while.

I think the song reminds me a lot of D'espairsRay "MONSTER"-era. The PV is pretty much a copy-paste (member parts in the couch) from Alice Nine VELVET PV. Don't you think? Overall, pretty repetive but OK song, maybe boring if thinking about listening to it without watching the PV.

I'm only excited for the new album and the new tour. But...ANOTHER Live BD/DVD? Seriously DIR EN GREY, stop! It's getting ridiculous now. Regarding the new tour that will revive the GAUZE era, it would be interesting to see what they're up to, re-arranging all songs from GAUZE with their current sound? Cool if it stays as a live performance, but I don't want these songs to be included on the new album. And I really hope the new album in November will be a NEW album and not a second THE UNRAVELING filled with rerecorded old songs.
  8. off topic warning perhaps but srsly is he pronouncing it Satski?? Have I pronounced it wrong the whole time? That was embarrassing
  9. sebbivism

I ordered the 2CD Ltd Edition! Will be impossible to get the Peyunne Zemeckis Deluxe Edition, and it's too expensive.. Didn't expect CDJapan to put out preordering for this soo quick
  10. sebbivism

So they're finally making Blu-ray such a standard that they release Blu-ray Limited Editions now? That's great!
  11. sebbivism

Exciting news, where can I preorder? I see there will be a 10.000-yen edition from Peyunne Zemeckis. I don't think I can buy that (or the other one excl. the T-shirt) The Vinyl was sold out in like 2 seconds so.. No chance I can grab that or even efford that. Will probably go with the 2CD 初回生産限定盤. Btw, did I just spot "mama" in the tracklist? Will be interesting to hear what they have done with that old Kyo song!! Btw 2, OMG is the 10,000yen edition including a Blu-ray for once?
  12. sebbivism

I don't want to talk bad about my favorite band, but seriously. The last years 90% of all of their releases has been "live"-related Blu-ray/DVDs or live recordings. I'm honestly tired of these releases. I didn't buy "TOUR12-13 IN SITU-TABULA RASA" and I will definitely not buy "TOUR2013 GHOUL". The bonus DVD live content on "Rinkaku" and "SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH" is enough for me. I never understood why they release so many DVD/BDs, why should people buy several documentary DVDs when they are touring worldwide each year, now even in Australia? And the documentary-part is not relevant at all since they don't come with English subtitles, absolutely pointless.

sukekiyo merchandise was today avaliable on Penyunne Zemeckis online shop, but vinyl "the daemon's cutlery" is already SOLD OUT. http://www.e-fanclub.com/Penyunne_Zemeckis/webshop/list.asp?bunrui1=3

A "EP" can also mean a "demo" that will later be mastered and re-produced into a final studio version. Releasing "EPs" at live shows are pretty common within the indies scene, at least here in Sweden local bands recently formed releasing EPs (1-2 tracked demo CDs) on their live shows. These EPs are often released in plastic sleeves with only a self-printed front-back booklet, the CD is often CD-R. the daemon's cutlery are obviously a such demo EP. If you get your hands of one of these, you better grab it hard since it will probably be valuable! A "western" EP in Japan is a "Mini Album". So there is clear difference between EP and Mini Album, at least in Japan. I think EP has a status of a "demo" like I described above, and the Mini Album is a 4-7 tracked release that western music industry refer to EP. Take a look at the Vinyl Disc, it's probably a 7" Vinyl and those are often used for Singles. Judging by the vinyl tracks on the disc, it does not have any silent parts, its most likely only 1 track on Side A:

Do you have any source for that EP tracklist? As far as I know and seen, the EP is a 1 track vinyl only containing "the daemon's cutlery". If you check scans on mbok or Yahoo! Auctions, you'll see the A-side is having a label with logo+text, but the B-side is completely blank only having a black label with nothing on it. The back cover is not having any other song titles other than "the daemon's cutlery". I think you're mixing up the EP tracklist with the setlist for the two shows they performed on December 29-30
  16. Or maybe German fans aren't aware that Jupiter is performing in Köln?
  17. sebbivism

Välkommen hit, fun to see more Swedes here

Well just in a couple of hours we all can purchase "aftermath" music clip and see if that one sounds better than that crappy deamons cutlery... I got so excited yesterday when I read on DIR EN GREYs official site that Kyo will do a side project together with band members from RENTRER EN SOI, kannivalism and 9GOATS, like... are this happening for real? But once again maybe we should remind each other that this is a Kyo side project and there will probably be a lot of strange things going on musically. Like, we shouldn't seriously don't have too high expectations musically. I think sukekiyo is a project where Kyo can experiment and go crazy musically, in a way it's not possible with DIR EN GREY. Probably sukekiyo will be directly connected to his upcoming photo books. I think it's great that Kyo is making his side project completely separated from DIR EN GREY in every way, but I hope this will not take DIR EN GREY to other directions than what they should've done if sukekiyo was not formed.

Yes, Akira is not longer a member of baroque. That's why the bonus DVD only contains Kei and Ryo.

Capitalization of title has been changed from "Sustain the UNtruth" to "SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH". Also, since Dec 6, artwork covers for all three types has been published. 完全受注生産限定盤 CD+DVD 初回生産限定盤 CD+DVD 通常盤 CD-only

Making it obligatory will only result in people tagging the first thing they think of and that is "visual kei" and "metal", those tags are so unnecessary because why should there be "visual kei"-tags when the download section now is divided into a complete separate section for visual kei.
  24. sebbivism

That was not even a song.

Nah, I discovered MERRY in 2004-2005 so I liked it then, and I like it now. I don't "hate" punk, I just think it's a music style that belong to the history book. Now, discussion is over. I also like the cover artworks. Especially Ltd B + Regular Edition. The Ltd A cover could have been the back cover for Regular Edition, it would've looked better.
