For those watching, Season 3 has finally continued Just watched ep 9, pretty cool episode with a kind of WTF ending, but then again, that is how this series has been going since episode 1. Starting of strong each episode, getting a little weak half way through, and then again a strong ending =)

So, I'm just curious if it'll work here... I don't know if there are any other people out here familiar with the game? On multiple forums I daily visit, they play a forum-game, based on The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow (German: Die Werwölfe von Düsterwald, Dutch: De Weerwolven van Wakkerdam, French: Les Loups-Garou de Thiercelieux, Spanish: Los Hombres Lobo de Castronegro), and it's just so much fun to do. Now I want to poll if there's enough interest on this forum to host such a game... In this game, players take the role of citizens of a small town, Miller's Hollow in the English version. However, there are some Werewolves amongst them and at night they eat one of the normal citizens. To survive, every day the remaining citizens (including the wherewolves) try to find a person they accuse of being a wherewolve. After a vote, the one with the most votes gets sacrificed. How can you find a wolve? Strange behaviour, or a murder on citizen which points to one purpetrator etc. Goal is for the citizens to defeat all the wherewolves, and for the wherewolves it is their goal to kill all citizens untill only the wherewolves remain. Besides the citizens and werewolves there are some more roles available Mayor: His vote counts double in the voting-round. The mayor is decided on the first day after a voting round. When the mayor gets killed, he gets to choose which player then becomes mayor. Seer: Every night he can see one of the other players role Hunter: When he gets killed he gets the chance to shoot one bullet at a random person Witch: Every night, the witch can decide if she uses her revive potion or her poison to kill one person. She only has one of each, and can only use it during the night Cupid: At the end of the first night, he fires two arrows at two players (he can shoot himself if he wants to) and the two players hit, fall in love. After this action, he returns back to a normal citizen. Lovers: The lovers are a third party in this game. Their goal is to remain alive during the game. If one of the two gets killed, the other dies too of a broken heart. If one of the two is a wolve, and the other a citizen, their goal is that they must be the only two to survive. If they both are wolves or citizens, and survive to the end, they also win. With enough people participating, there can be some extra roles included. More info about that later =) Minimum of players: 14 Maximum of players: A LOT, but let's say I close it when we hit 30 otherwise it might drag on too long xD Voting deadlines: Sunday and Wednesdays at 22:00 CET. When there are fewer players left, we add another deadline on Friday 22:00 CET This is just a thread to see if there is some interest in this game. When you play, you must be required to be active while playing. You're allowed to miss one voting, in the first 5 days. If you miss a second one within this timeframe, you'll be removed from the game. Personally I have played this game a lot, and I want to organize one for a chance. However, it is kinda hard to pull it of when there's nobody familiar with the game, so it would be great if some people here are already familiar with it and are willing to participate =)

As for me, only 2 of my top 10 of last year was stuff I got from CAT5, but all others were bought by myself. That said, those 2 (RBB and Siamese cats) are both releases that I intend to buy with my upcoming package. Most of my stuff are coming from JetSet Records =) For CAT5, I know he has some really good connections that can arrange stuff for him, and he also buys a lot =). In both cases, you just have to know some places where you can buy some lesser known stuff that ship internationally or accept CC/paypal on their digital shop. But moreso, you need to get intoo a group of enthousiasts that are sharing good Japanese music (and by that, I mean links to soundcloud/bandcamp/youtube most of the time). Just get to know to which labels and artists you're interested in, and check their websites for updates. Just when you know where to look (personal preferences) it's kinda get easy to search for similar bands. For example, I love Mona Records, and once every while, I browse throught their store (discovered yesterday that way, and intend to buy that EP when I get the chance)to see what's out, then check it out on youtube or something and then try my ultimate to obtain the release if I like it =). Sometimes it's so easy... And ofcourse, sometimes a random purchase also might turn out to be a gem =) For me personal I discovered Akiko Ando (and thus kusuguru when she formed that band later), Shibata Satoko and SHIBATA/HOLA that way amongst others. Only heard some bad recorded stuff by Akiko Ando and bought the album, while the other two were only 500 yen demos which turned out to be amazing. Knowing the right people to get stuff from is only a small thing for myself, as I download almost nothing. Over the last two months, downloaded only 8 albums (androp, float down the liffey, RBB, Siamese cats, this town needs guns, the cabs, Uri Gagarn, and tarte tatin), It mostly resides self-exploring, getting recommendations and purchasing (in my case at least) @Deith Well, see above actually xD.

So it becomes clear that though our indie love is similar, we still have a lot of differences xD but then again, you listen to a lot wider variety and a lot more releases in general than I do =) Only Roth Bart Baron in common, but that is just one of the albums,even if you aren't intoo folk that much, you have to enjoy. It's really great, and certainly one of the best releases of last year =) And I see I completely forgot the releases by mmm, middle9 and hitohi in my list xD. I tend to take a different approach for my year end-lists this year around so I won't forget so many releases xD Also great to see you got Lianne La Havas, Wot Gorilla, Silversun Pickups and Tame Impala also on your list. Loved those releases
