Yeah, you can definitely tell this is 100% his band, but some of their answers were more thoughtful than other bands in past interviews. It's cool to see that he admits he draws inspiration from DAVID, which people have compared this band to before. It always seems to be the drummer that acts like he's being harangued into doing these interviews. Are vkei drummers just not in it for the fantasy?

They have a new single coming on July 16th called "Neo-Tokyo" (ネオトウキョウ) and a free one-man on September 30th at Shinjuku BLAZE.

This sounded like complete noise the first time I listened to it, but now that I have more attention devoted to the second time, I like the nod to Madeth's backwards song they did here.

Nice! I like the two singles they have on spotifty, so I have high hopes for this.

Babykingdom ripped off the only good Daizy Stripper song in their song "Hampire". My guess is both are sourced from the same song, it's just that Hampire's version is super close to how Daizy Stripper performed their rendition. Original (from the point the video starts at): Copy: https://open.spotify.com/track/0IfnEeeUeFZ5ah25AOSp2x?si=LYX_qv85RCy0kJHeNtayTA (at around 1 minute and 44 seconds)

Love that they're calling their checki event a "2-shot Xray"

:S hmm...when I click that, it takes me to their page with the name in katakana and that has their Proposal collection album, Deathmate, and V.I.D. I think this is because Sword Records has put their catalog on Spotify, which is why older D'espa albums are available now too (but not their Speed-disk or unsigned era). Some more I've found. Apologies if there are duplicates: I'm going off of the first post in this thread: Kaggra, Gotcharocka Develop One's Faculties Razor Alice 9 Shellmy BabyKingdom Codomo Dragon (katakana page) Codomo Dragon (romaji page) Rei [Zero]Hz Sex-Android Is there a way to get the first post updated by someone who isn't OP? That way it's not just on them to come back and check.

It's always been weird to me how particularly Western bands can go like 5 years without an album and still be just fine, but vkei bands apparently need to churn out a single every 9 weeks in order to pay back their loan shark and get that checki $$$

Isn't Takayuki close to 50 now? How much foundation does he use to still look like a youthful scene raccoon?
