They used That Room™ with blue lighting. You can't fool me, Kiwamu! Look at her with the word play at the end of the song. No wonder it takes 10 months to come out with new music -- gotta think of those Easter eggs between coming up with spooky names for menu items at your vampire host club.

didn't they break up? Or am I confusing them with the other 3 fukuoka bands that look literally just like this

Got a pretty neat picture of BLAST out of a magazine.

They said in an interview that Shoujo is about a girl surviving nuclear fallout or something idk I kinda see it from the video
-
They came back earlier last year and put out a single back in February! COVID kinda made them inactive though, but that's not really their fault. Edit: They actually uploaded their revival live onto YT

Guitarist ゆ〜る (I guess he also goes by 優流?) will be pausing band activities dues to doctor's orders to rest. They did not specify whether this is due to COVID-19, but the tweet implies that it's stress related.

The red suits in the crosswalk is the official lewk for the album, which I think they took back in December (hence the 3 hair colors since then). The one at the start of the thread, the angura one, and the black suit looks all seem to be various promo shoots for specific events / Yukika hemorrhaging money for this band because he probably finally heard Jiga's album.

Their best album and one of the most influential albums in the scene to date. It was more or less the blueprint for the entire white-kei / soft visual / actually popular kei that came in the late 90s / early 2000s. How do people not like "Fake?" It's literally quintessential 90's sentimentality. My top highlights are Fake, Civilize, Rosier, and FACE TO FACE. Title track is a snooze.

It's such a trip to see them looking like that / sounding like that again

I hope they're new songs and not more cross-covers. Crucifixion only has so many songs they can let Kikyo sing on smh

Scissor reviving? This is going a bit far for an April Fool's joke....

More spicy topic: ever have bandmen feud with you?

What I think is super weird is that really really indie bands embrace streaming, big-time bands are just starting to embrace it (thanks to L'arc starting that trend), but mid-tier or big in the indies scene labels completely refuse? Like, why are Loop Ash, Plug, PSC, or Speed-disk's catalogs not available? It's so weird.

It's a grey area for me. On the one hand, it's way easier to chuck $2.58 at a single on iTunes than it is to spend $30 to have it physically imported from CDJ. But at the same time, sometimes record deals fall through or the band splits and then their material is gone from streaming services. For example, GE+IM's digital single is now gone, and all of UnsraW's materially used to be streamable, but that got removed a few months ago. Unfortunately, being available digitally comes with an asterisk that says *(for now)
