Their last two albums had some good stuff on it, so I guess I'm kind of excited for their next one. I kind of stopped half-liking them with their Murderscope and R / Genesis bullshit.

Break down of Versailles compositions. Tried to not have things get counted twice unless they have a different name, like the two versions of Princess. This is excluding the instrumental pieces from Ascendead Master, Sforzando, and the SE on their Anthologie collection album. Their early works tended to be 4 by Kamjio, 4 by Hizaki, 3 by Teru, 1 or 2 tracks by "Versailles." Gradually it evolved into 4 or 5 by Kamijo or Hizaki, 2 by Teru, then their last album and singles were predominantly written by Hizaki.

Kamijo is going to release a new single on June 18th, 2014, although any further details have not yet been announced. It will come in 3 types like his first single: type-A + B will be the versions with a DVD, and there is a edition that's just a CD. It is available for preorder on CDJapan; it will cost 1200 yen ($11.77) for the regular edition, and 1800 yen ($17.66) for the limited editions.

While I'm not a huge Kaya fan to begin with, I think part of the problem was that he's still singing like he's in his solo project. This is supposed to be a completely different feel, concept, and genre, yet he's still doing the yami no hime Izam who??? schtick and it doesn't fit. Did he sing like that in Isola too?

Don't. You're setting yourself up for failure. That thrilling feeling of 'is she going to want me this time?????' is addicting, but it always ends up burning after. Eventually, the feeling of defeat becomes addicting as well and it just spirals into nothing healthy.

Since Angelo recently acquired an ex-D'espa and ex-Vidoll member (both bands did considerably well in Japan and abroad), I highly doubt they're going anywhere either. If anything, they might do a revival tour with a rerecording collection or DVD / Blu-Ray or something. I'm all about "Clear Sky" and "Mad Sky" remakes. ("Purple Sky" was eh)
