Cool! Didn't care for Lapis, but I really liked their remake. Edit: Is this a loose FF13 reference?

I think one aspect that's you've been missing is one that Zess keeps saying: illegal downloads aren't sales lost because they're made by people who wouldn't have bought the album to begin with. From what I've seen, a good deal of people don't even download music anymore since they can stream it on their iDevices. Maybe in 10~15 years Japan will catch on and we can listen to N.B. cover "Let It Go" on "Vizualizm Disney Vol 3" on Spotify This happens for bands outside of vkei as well: take Psy for example. Did anyone know who he was before "Gangum Style?" Unless you followed K-pop, probably not. And yet, that song became an international smash hit 6 albums into his career. The only recent vkei band that comes to mind that went from ???? to scene leading is Versailles, who did it in within a year and a half from starting during a perfect storm of international attention to vkei, a rise in popularity for brolita / gawfikku clothing, and being an alternative to the hard-rock / heavy groups, like most of their contemporaries were (D'espa, RES, Giruga, Mucc, etc). I suppose Diaura / Mejibray are kind of doing the same thing, just on a much smaller scale, but only if stardom is measured in length of request threads for an album that came out a whole 17 hours ago.

I wonder if they'll add more version-specific megas, although this time they'll probably be called α and β instead of X and Y.

Sometimes iTunes purchases do come with a PDF of the album booklet. I believe I have 3 or 4 of those, but that's usually if you only buy the 'deluxe edition' of things, and I've never ever seen it done for a visual-kei band on there.

They look like conglomerations of unused Phantasmagoria covers

Fantastic point of reference that will be extremely viable in real life situations. I'm not sure why maturity now equates "I have opinions on socioeconomic issues and I am good at being argumentative about them (ITS CALLED 'DEBATING,' MOM)." A lot goes into being mature than just being aware of social issues, namely life experience in a variety of things. Life experience is why I would really dislike dating outside my life-stage range, let alone my age range. I personally wouldn't date someone younger than myself, being the kind of person who prefers someone with more experience to act as a mentor. The oldest person I've dated was 25 when I was 21, and because of the difference things didn't work out. You'd be correct in saying "...that's not really a huge range." However, you need to take both people's point in life into consideration. As a college senior, I was in that weird state when I'm not really sure what's going to happen in 6 months (literally anything from moving back in with mom, to ending up in 10,000 miles away), but not in a "oMg ParTY XDDDD" phase like people who just started college. The other guy was finishing up grad school and had been through being an adult more than I had. In general, there was a disconnect between what we wanted out of a relationship, as well as our lifestyles. I was more flighty and trying to figure out how to be a real person after doing three years of "adult life with safety nets," while he was more settled and disgruntled about his choices in education / other personal issues with his family. Had he been much older (30+), that rift would have been that much worse. My boyfriend now said he had a thing with someone who was much older than he and it was completely superficial--they didn't connect on any level, but he was at a point where he just liked being appreciated by someone who had money and didn't see himself even having a future. Props to people who can make huge age gaps work, but as stated above, they're really not for me unless they are somehow more or less at the same point I am or we share a lot in common.

So long as it's a 'sold out' collection and not a 'byyeeeeee' collection, I'm fine with this.

Can't wait to see this album art on a t-shirt at Hot Topic :-*

[["One of us" is chanted in the distance]] Are these supposed to just be albums? I'm listing singles as well so w/e Liphlich-- Hurrah Hurray Kamijo -- Symphony of the Vampire 己龍 -- 暁歌水月 AvelCain -- AvelCain-アベルカイン- アルルカン -- Eclipse Ru:Natic -- [M] / Foggy Night Spookykyo -- Immortalis Honorable mentions (Good, but I'm not sure if they'll end up being a 'top release' for me once the year is up): Jupiter-- LAST MOMENT Kylie Minogue-- Kiss me Once グリーヴァ-- 終焉 / 終焉-MAD death.- According to iTunes, I really haven't tried out a whole lot of music released in 2014...Most of my 'new' stuff were things I just discovered this year.

It's a sad day when Chisato is on the LM.C / BGFN / Mix Speakers band wagon, while simultaneously competing with Jun for being the biggest hide rip-off.

I do wish more foreign bands did use outlets like iTunes, Spotify (if they fixed their fucking tags. None of this basic bitch romanji crap), or even Amazon, to sell their stuff digitally. UNDER CODE sort of got good at this for like 6 months, then magically stopped updating things, and Kisaki even had his own digital mp3 store for Matina stuff that magically stopped one day. I would definitely buy more music if there was an affordable outlet like that--it is so much easier to spend $30 to buy 3~7 albums digitally (assuming they cost $4.99~9.99) than it is to spend $22 to import a single with 2 tracks on it. Most of the money spent on imports isn't even going to the artist! A good chunk is literally shipping fees, sometimes customs, and 3rd party service fees. For example: I'd love to be Penicillin's "Missing Link" album from Lucy's Pocket. They have it up there for around 400 yen, which is ridiculously cheap. However, I'd have to pay a shopping fee (depending on where, could be 400~700 yen for that price), shipping fees for both domestic and trans-pacific shipping (300 + anywhere from 900~1500). Suddenly a $5 CD becomes somewhere around $27. Imagine doing this in bulk, too. People sell boxes of old demotapes on ebay all the time, but they're also heavy which probably means I'm looking at $30 in shipping. While there's methods of minimizing shipping, like ordering in bulk or paying a convict to swim across the ocean with your CD in a plastic baggy, sometimes it really doesn't seem worth it unless you are really keen on collecting.

I hope they recover quickly and don't let this scare them, or anyone else in the industry, from performing again. This is insane.

I really like the 2nd preview

As kind of a tangent, other laws or contracts have to be worded to ensure benefits don't discretely discriminate against non-heterosexual relationships. For example, my company has in its contract that people get both paternity and maternity leave if they have a child. It even has a line after that says something like "Or in the case of a same-sex relationship that chooses to adopt, you get _x_ amount of time to bond with your child." Obviously it's worded much better, but I was happy to see that they specifically stated a same-sex option.

They were named "The Babydolls." According to Last.fm, no one listens to them and they don't even have a picture on their profile :V . I found them by googling "Glam Rock Band" and clicked their picture because they surprisingly looked a lot like Misery.
