Finished that new Berserk series. Well, not the adaptation that we deserved but the one we needed. I didn't expect a season 2 announcement near the end there. I'll continue watching it but I don't have any enthusiasm for it. 6/10

^ Umm, you shouldn't even be surfing the web during work, especially with sites posting questionable content, so that's your own fault.

Take your time and savor the flavor.

I'm on my 3rd playthrough for Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Got my Pacifist achievement finally. I want to try to get at least 70% of the achievements done (not involving that breach thingy).

One thing that immediately pops into my mind are the repeated intros and outros parts of their songs. I find this to be very common in most VK bands. It makes the songs unnecessarily long and makes me question their song writing ability. Here's an example to clarify what I'm talking about. The first 32 seconds. Cut that part in half and we're good. Due to annoyances like this, I'm forced to open up an audio editing software to trim the fat of the songs I like.

Last video bumper I edited for Shinjuku Station. Enjoy!

The most I spent on was Dir en grey. 3 albums and 1 single. 2 concert tickets. 1 t-shirt. Totaling around $200 I think.

My reaction to this whole FF15 thing mounts to this.... I'm also really burnt out by seeing anything related to FF15. There's far too much hype around it and it makes me expect it'll pull a No Man's Sky, except the game most likely won't be as bad or broken as that. I've seen the anime. The animation is decent but nothing worth writing home about. The movie I could care even less about seeing it since I have to drive my way out to select theaters. I think both the anime and movie should've been an afterthought. It's ridiculous that Square Enix expects this game to sell 10 million copies, and that's in full price sales, no discounts. The only way I'm gonna play this game is wait for the PC release and wait for the price to go down under $20.

Alright, so an interesting little tidbit popped up on my youtube feed. I was disgusted seeing micro-transaction in Deus Ex Mankind Divided since it's a single player game (also that horrific "augment your pre-order" BS). There was no doubt in my mind that it was the vile & greedy Square Enix pulling those strings. This video from Jim Sterling confirms it. Thank God for him indeed.

Just finished playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Great game overall but the end was lacking. I don't know if a sequel is in the works or the DLC contents will be an expansion to the game rather than skins, but it really needs to tie up some loose ends. Also, Battlefield 1 beta started today so I'll be playing some of that.
  11. Fear and Loathing for me. There's only 2 songs I like from Maximum.

Due to scheduling issues... I had to leave your panel early. Next year though, if you really want me to record your panel, let me know beforehand cuz I won't be going to fan panels anymore.

Batman v Superman One of the most vile movies I've seen this year. Random dream sequences, characters completely out of character from source materials, too dark, too long, Wonder Woman serving no purpose, logic defying plot holes, and worst of all... a complete miscast of Jesse Eisenburg as Lex Luthur. Ban Zack Snyder from ever directing another superhero film. However, the biggest problem with the DC franchise is how they're so uptight competing with Marvel. It took Marvel nearly a decade to build up the first Avengers film which made that franchise so successful while this took 2-3 years. A rushed product with horrifying results. And after hearing many things about Suicide Squad, I have zero hope for upcoming DC movies. When the foundation of a franchise is built upon such atrocity, how can one expect the sequel to be any better when it follows up on that? Sure it's possible the sequels may be better as a self-contained flick, but as a whole, nope. It's like spraying perfume on garbage, but in the end, it's still garbage. Or a better analogy would be a functional healthy person standing with fractured legs. The only thing good about this film is the score. For this movie to force Hans Zimmer to retire from ever composing music for another superhero film is really sad to hear. Rating: Fuck This/10

I've been playing Grandia 2 on steam for the past several weeks. The dungeons are confusingly long and tedious process but I'm enjoying the game for the most part.

I'll be keeping this for a very long time.

I've been around here daily, just not actively posting. In other news, I just pre-ordered the new Deus Ex Mankind Divided through GMG for $45. First time in years, I pre-ordered a video game.

So, to anyone who's playing No Man's Sky. Is the game actually good or just nothing more than a hype? Be honest here.

Finished Watching Mr. Robot season one. It's one of the most engaging shows I've seen since Breaking Bad. The show reminded me of Fight Club, but with hacking/IT stuff.

Star Trek Beyond Here are my brief thoughts. I can't tell which one was worse, this movie or the previous. There's too many plot progression without any sort of break or explanation/build up leading up to certain points. The villain's motivation made no sense and just when things were about to get interesting in the 3rd act, it falls short with a very predictable pattern of lazy script writing. I've heard many opinions saying it's better than Into Dumbness, but after seeing this, I was really disappointed.

The Big Short This movie takes a very boring subject matter and turns it into a very engaging flick that's based on actual events and ultimately, making you angry at the end of the flick. Initially, I wasn't interested in this movie until one of my co-workers told me how good it was. The basic synopsis is financial market crash from the housing mortgage back in 2005. Due to all the financial terminology, I had a very difficult time trying to retain the film's full understanding but at the same time, it wasn't hard to follow in a basic story sense. The whole cast did an incredible acting job. Steve Carell stood out to me the most because he plays a character who's righteously angry at all those corrupt & greedy corps and wallstreet, the type of person I would immediately root for. He's a like an angry & vulgar version of Bernie Sanders. I personally prefer The Big Short over The Wolf of Wallstreet because of the educational/intellectual value it holds. I highly recommend this movie to everyone. It will make you think twice before buying a house.
