I thought about posting this to here too. This is Rame's blog entry concerning the disbandment and some clarifying thoughts from him. I asked my friend to translate the entry for me, so the translation is not all done by me. Though it was originally translated in Finnish and thus I will be the translator from Finnish to English. Notice, that some meanings might have changed during the process, and most likely there will be more accurate ways to say things. Also, my friend said that even though she's good in Japanese there was some things she wasn't really sure of. If you have something to correct, please do so. Translator from Japanese to Finnish: gnrbu Translator from Finnish to English: Yuugi Disbandment It was announced, then. Accepting it is difficult. Like everyone else, I hope it was a lie, too, or I think there must have been some kind of a mistake... But it won't change. However, the way how someone made the note before the official announcement makes me lose my belief in human kind. Why did he want to report about a thing as big as this before the official announcement? I couldn't see any reason to make it such a fuss. But I guess there was a variety of opinions about it. I won't try to lure you with sweet lies or lip service, but I hope everyone will do their best from now on. Wherever you are or whatever you do, you're the most important thing and I blame myself and my own problems for this outcome. I'm sorry for all the fans. But I'm also sorry you'll have to keep supporting only semifit Vidoll. It would be unfair to ask you to support us like you used to. We can't be the band who used to trust itself and want you to listen to us and see us and have fun while doing so. We were a band for nine years. You supported us for nine years. I can't live the rest of my long life thinking the nine years haven't even existed. That's how it is. Whatever you do from now on these nine years surely won't just disappear. Now everyone is in a different situation and everyone has their own personal feelings about this, and I can't put them together neatly. I'm confident that someday we'll perform as Vidoll again. I believe so. Why am I saying such optimistic things right now? I'm sorry. But I really do believe so. Even from now on for me being a part of Vidoll is more important than anything else in my life. I believe we'll be back together when others feel the same way.

^And if Crown gets to decide the whole PV will be about Jui stripping with random Japanese amazon ladies around. Seriously, almost all the girls Vidoll has had in their recent PVs have been bigger than Jui.
-
Somehow the members don't even seem to be very sad about this... based on what Rame and Giru have written in their blogs. They are angry, of course, since unofficial sources revealed this decision without their approval. And they said this was not the way how they intended to handle this. Everyone's disappointed. Also, I could read between the lines that Rame is somewhat accusing Crown for this, and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out so. He said he won't be so naive anymore and won't be lured with tempting promises. So this kinda points the finger towards the label... Though, my Japanese might mistake, so please correct me if you understood his update differently.

Tero won't continue with the rest of the band. And neither will Jui, as obvious. Also, Tero stated that the other members will continue on their own, so I have no idea whether this means they'll continue as three or all separately.
-
T___T "been" there a few days a two days ago. But darling, welcome here. XP Wasn't it good that I told you to write this? :PP Actually, you didn't. I stated a rethorical question whether I should write this. :'DDDDDD
-
I just might be the only one thinking this is no good. I want Giru, Shun, Rame and Tero to stick together. Anyway, Rame and Shun have a session live together as well. I'm counting on that.

Haha, thank you. Improving constantly. Though it's hard to improve when people are way too polite to tell me I have a wrong preposition in a wrong place or the order of my sentences are weird. But they do have guts enough to say my favourite bands suck. Oh what the heck. I can't say I'm a big fan of カル・ヴァリ. I listen to their music and own a couple of releases and love Sinema's (or Hikaru's) voice, but really, I hardly know anything about the band itself. I'm a much bigger fan of ヴィドール if I must say. Nonetheless that's hardly a good thing anymore. I've thought about my relationship with my reincarnation-self and wife-self and come up with the conclusion that... yeah, it is a mindfuck, but a really nice one! Good you're safe. I'd really hate to lose all my new friends I have just succeeded to lure into my realm. Waitwhat-- Not a surprising thing at all. I've come upon a feature that many people know me but I know no one. Well, I guess it's the curse of being a god. Mind telling what name I just might recognise you from? I wish my English was great. I'd do a lot better in matriculation exam. But thanks anyway. : D Thank you, may I wish the same to you. Wait, something went wrong here... No, just thank you. Well I kind of feel people will get more interested in me if I tell them more about my personality and bring my general attitude up with a certain type of writing. Don't have a clue if it's actually working, but darn I'm having fun. I have almost become active, actually! I have a nice variety of opinions in the thread for ヴィドール's disbandment. Everyone can pick their favourite. It's like being in a candy store! dmriojas Thank you, I already feel welcome. Well, after all my musical taste is divine like my personality. No, seriously, thank you. Glad someone doesn't think I'm listening to complete trash. Though I've come across people in TW who think that way. It shouldn't be a pain in my ass so I just... ignore them... in the forum... until I get to tell them off to my friends. Thanks to you too~

I wish that too. The one and only singer of 妃&関西貴?? IS Rame... despite the fact that many other singers have participated in the project. But orginally it was formed for Rame and Kisaki to be able to play in the same band even though they're both bassists. I mean... I love KO-JI of Arc. He's my favourite singer... but I was shocked after hearing he'll be the singer in one live of 妃&関西貴??. That's wrong, I tell you. It should always and without exceptions be Rame.
-
He has also a beautiful voice. and if as byou suggested they reform with rame as vo.? it would be totally ok for me. SECOND! Listening 妃&関西貴?? too much? NEVER! But somehow I have a feeling that the malicious creator of this world isn't favourable enough to allow that to happen.
-
But he wants to be the new Gackt, don't go crushing his dreams now! This.

Their disbandment has little to do with Jui's vocal problems. In fact, he was improving. I was excited for their comeback. The reason given was musical differences and disenchantment with the business and industry. Jui is going solo, so his voice is fine. Sounds like Jui got tired of visual kei and decided to leave the band. Basicly everything points to that. Jui is the only one to attend the future instores and he and Rame are separately calling to Kisaki = problems in the paradise. I hope the four others will continue together.

Thank you for asking, I'm incredibly happy right now. How about you? Got stuck in the rabbit hole at all? Fine is not enough for a perfectionist like myself. :'D But thank you. I try my best to make everything look like myself, that probably ads an extra portion of creativity in.
-
And find yourself stuck in the rabbit hole. I'm kinda an old member in TW (or future what-so-ever-forum), but I'm hardly active and only occasionally take a part on disgussion. And I never did an itroduction post, so out of boredom I'm doing it now. Yes. Hello. I'm Yuugi. A 20-year-old Finn with a misanthropy towards her own people (seriously, there's nothing good about Finns or Finland or Finnish in general). I'm Kisaki's future wife, he himself just doesn't know it yet. And when he dies out of stress I'll herit UNDER CODE. This is my past and my future written shortly. Thank you. I'll also be the next top producer in Japan, which you probably already guessed. So, moving on. I'm happier person than I just made myself appear like, I'm actually very happy. Almost too happy. So happy, that people think I'm on medication. Did I just mention I'm like really happy? Let's make it clear anyway. Despite of being happy I have a dark and intelligent sense of humour. I love being mean and to get along with me you'll just have to... well, get used to it. I don't mean anything seriously bad by fucking with everyone, I just think sarcasm, satire and irony are the best kinds of humour. I don't even do it too often anyway. Often I have strong opinions about things and bands, but I try to not express myself by just saying "this sucks please kill them rolfmao". I'm generally polite and like to be that way. I also like others to be like that. And, this is what you have all been waiting for, I DO listen to japanese music. Amazing isn't it? Yeah, I'm vain. I listen to visual kei. A lot. I like getting to know new, small bands, not because I want to be an elitist whore with a list of bands no one has ever heard of, but because I want to follow how bands evolve from something semi-awful to something good. At the moment I have five favourite bands: ヴィドール, アーク, ダリ, カル・ヴァリ and 己??, and please, some respect: don't come and comment this post by saying "That band is good but others are shit", or something alike. I'm not fond with that. Although this is not a date add (oh god why? With this kind of introduction I'd surely get laid... alot), I'd still like to inform that even though I seem like a mean bitch I'm very social and like to know new people. So if you want to get to know me better bring me your votives as I am the reincarnation of God Kisaki himself please let me know. With pm or any way you feel comfortable. And sorry about the lousy English. I'm not a native.
-
Again I'm the only one who's actually wanting them back. :'D Oh well, can't really cry about it. I just hope Arc does the same trick. "Yeah we disbanded because of musical differencies but we'll be in the same band together nontheless and just change the name and maybe find a fifth member and Toshiya will figure out a kanji version of his name. Yayness."
-
^ Also, all of the blog headers have the same kind of design. They'll definitely have a new band together. So much for the "musical differencies".
-
This is... I mean... I thought they'd be together forever (which is highly impossible, but still). Arc is something I've loved for over three years and I always felt the band kind of my kids. I never even saw their live (I had the possibility, but a sucky friend ruined it). I think this is a loss. Even though not many think the same way. I loved Arc from the bottom of my heart. Oh well, I think the good side in this is that I was always the most interested in KO-JI only. He's definitely my favourite singer over all (and in this I think I'm the only one). I can only hope he'll form a new band, because I don't want to loose such an amazing vocalist.

Not true. Bastard was still indies album. They went major after joining Crown Records in the beginning of the year 2009. Everything released before that was indies. Sorry for correction. I'm really one of the rare fans who like both past and present Vidoll. I can honestly say I love them both. There are thing that I miss about their music when they were in UNDER CODE, but then there are things that I wouldn't change about their current music, like example the very fact that all of the members have actually develobed better as musicians past couple of years. Sure they have lost some of their innovative style of composing and stay on the sure ground that'll keep new fans coming, but that basicly happens to every band. Yet I think there's still one member that likes to keep the band creative, and that's Rame. His compositions are still extremely unique. I'm just sad that the band is loosing alot of their fans and all say: "Liked them before, not anymore." I'm not saying my point of view is better, more like it's alright if you don't try to listen to the music you seemingly don't like. It's just sad for the band who's still trying their best to both gain new fans and keep old ones interested. That's fine, I was pretty sure that BASTARD was major label because at the end of the dvd included it says UNIVERSAL records, plus it's still listed on their website( in fact as their first release lol). So you may be right, but if they weren't signed to UNDERCODE or Crown, where were they signed? Also, you aren't alone in still liking their music. I like the new stuff(Crescent Gazer was pretty good), the singles are usually way more enjoyable for me, while the albums tend to have too many boooooring ballads; and while I like Vidoll ballads, recently there have been way too many and they all start to sound the same and don't touch any part of me at all like a ballad is supposed to. It's alright. I think there wasn't a fan who wouldn't have thought they went major after leaving UC. Even I did. I thought "graduation" meant "going major", like it meant for Phantasmagoria (which never actually did anyway) and 12012. Everyone thought they were major. But what they actually did was that they got signed in SWORD RECORDS, the same as, I think, D'espairsRay. Then, in the end of 2008 Vidoll announced they'd hold "the last indies live". I believe back then all the fans thought they were somehow fooled. :'D But it turned out that Vidoll had been indies all this time despite graduating from UC. So, a couple of years they were on SWORD RECORDS. I think they kinda still are. It's funny, since both SWORD RECORDS and Crown can be found printed on their posters and in the beginning of the PV DVDs. Such a confusing band. Well, I'm the other way. I like albums more than singles since the ruling composer on albums is Rame. :'D Nowadays he concentrates more in composing for the album and thus there's none of his works in singles. Well, in a rare occasion there is. Like remixed Gothikaroid in Crescent gazer. For boring ballads you can fully blame Jui. XD

Here comes the first who's actually sad for Kalvary's disbandment. :'D No offence, guys. Yeah, here goes one great band again. Can't say I'd be devostated by this, rather disappointed. This year has been all in all seemingly hard for many bands. Think it'll escalate next year? Maybe The GazettE and Dir en grey go next? I hope each member will continue with music even after this. I'm sure to be following Sinema. His voice never let me down.

This topic works much the same way as "What are they up to?" but the way that you can ask about a band you don't know what label they are signed in. Sometimes you can't find the right information for this. I'd ask about カル・ヴァリ (Kalvary) and ギャロ (Gyaro, THE GALLO). Does anyone know in what label are they? Especially I'd like to know where Gyaro is signed in, since I can't find any information about their standard fanmail address (not e-mail-fanmail) and usually all gifts for a band are sent to the office of the label. Mods can remove this if it's in the wrong section or if the topic is vain. Thank you.
