Is Dir going to be at the Lancaster, PA show on this tour????? Because I will most CERTAINLY be going to this show if they will be there.

More Curse of Rose than Vampire Requiem. I'm dying to know what that Engrish is in the chorus hehe
-
I think the preview sounds pretty good. Not 100% great, but definitely impressive. The cover art, again, good not great. I find it better than Anomie's cover art (but of course, you can't judge an album by it's cover). I love the track list. I'm very excited. As ottsuga said, Matenrou Opera is one of my favorite bands right now. Their singles have been incredibly impressive. Helios and Otoshiana were two of the best A-sides of their career. This album is probably going to be incredible.

I think Kiwamu said recently that he won't be touring in the United States anymore? That makes me sad
-
FUUUUUUCK YES.
I'm surprised I'm the first to respond. I love BLOOD. I can't wait to hear it. The last two singles were pretty decent.
-
Hmm. I will say I'm very excited, I feel an odd sort of connection to this band because I was born on the day their debut album released, so it's like... I grew up with them. And honestly, it isn't just that, their music is fantastic as well. But... A 20 minute song? I don't know. I feel like I could listen to 20 minutes of Matenrou Opera, X-JAPAN, and Versailles... But I always thought of Luna Sea as the guys who did brilliant things with 3 and 4 minute songs (Like Shine and Tonight). I will definitely listen to it though and I'm sure I'll end up loving it!

Trusty... Lol...
My excitement for this is lukewarm. I really love this band and always hope they'll blow me away again, but the last time I was captivated by their music was Versus. Nothing has impressed me since, unfortunately.

I just thought I'd drop by and say that I really listened to "Birth in the Death" and "Gemini-I-the void" today and I have totally fallen in love. Especially with the void. Such a beautiful song. Even more excited for "9" now.WHAT. WHY HAVEN'T YOU HEARD THEM TIL NOW? ;O;
I had heard them when the album came out, but I wasn't impressed at first, but now they really blew me away when I listened to them. I'm glad I gave them another chance. The other two GEMINI songs are really great too!

Yeah, we are well overdue for a new album of original material since they started their reboot. That's what I'm hoping for most, but a North American tour that I can actually attend would be my #2.
-
I'm obsessed with that album art right now, it's SOOO good. Just wish they were a pinch bigger, but I'm sure one will become available closer to the release date.

I feel about Crossfaith the same way I feel about Coldrain, Mayday Parade, and Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Their music is outstanding, but the song variation is so minute the whole albums sound like one long song and you can very rarely ever pick a favorite. At least for me.
Is this song "Monolith" going to be on the new album? Me gusta.
Furthermore, this New Breed band that came on after them. I liked that preview as well.

Shou has had a vocal coach for years. O_o PSC pretty much has their bands work so hard having a coach is pretty mandatory to be at the top of their current levels. PSC also pushes for the bands to consistently top themselves and do something different and new to stay popular. It's like once a band goes into PSC they never stop working. Look at that A9 channel episode where Tora's mom calls in and is all "I haven't seen my son in five years~." And Tora cried. LOLOLOL. BUT UHH. What am I even talking about anymore? Oh. Overworked musicians. Constantly having to have fresh musical style. Etc. Lot's of pressure and contracts with distributors and the label etc. And if you become part of a scandal you graduate~! Which is their nice way of saying they fired you from the label. Like how Miyavi knocked up dat pawp sutaa Melody. They fired him over that. LOL. And he was all "Well, fuck you guys~. Visual Kei is too small for me~." But it's obvious in Miyavi's new stuff how much of a hand PSC had in his music, production, etc. Probably cause he didn't have PSC execs to tweak over every little song. Make them more catchy, more likely to be a hit, etc. So this new sound to Shou's voice just seems to me him trying to keep fresh and stuff. He looked old at the before the pv started playing in that video haha. I was a little shocked. I despise the way he sings in Heart of Gold. It's less apparent in subete e and he seems to kind of molded it into a slightly better sound but I still don't like it as much as earlier vocal stylings he had.tl;dr
;___;
This. All of this.
For me, I also don't like Heart of Gold, but I thought Blue Flame was their worst track to date. I really can't even finish the song, I think it's just dismal. But yes, I agree totally with Maiku in that it sounds like he's straining his voice to sound different and it DOES but not... in a good way. His new style of singing is very... "angry cat" and his old style is very... "Ox mooing" and... Let's be real for a moment. I'm a big fan of Ai from DEATHGAZE and Cher.... I LOVE the "Ox Mooing" voices XD
I also agree that it seems he has it more refined in Subete e to sound like a more reasonably attractive voice.... A human voice rather than that of an animal, which makes me excited for the album.

This is definitely something I'm interested in hearing. I love the X, Gackt, and Luna Sea songs that were chosen and that's enough for me. Megamasso is a great band too so that's only adding to my excitement
-
Does anyone else feel like Shou's voice has somehow gotten slightly less enjoyable over the years? Like... Pre-Zekkeishoku his voice was totally normal and pretty good... Then in Zekkeishoku on tracks like Q and World End Anthology it was PERFECT. Then Alpha was a great album and Vandalize was... less than perfect... and I know a lot of people liked Gemini, but it STILL hasn't grown on me in the right way, even though it has great songs and I think it's because Shou's voice seems almost whiney and all over the place. I must say though that this is my favorite song/PV they've done for this album. I can tell I'm going to have it on repeat already. Those were just thoughts I had that I wanted to see if anyone agreed with.
-
Wow! This is great news! I'm STILL obsessed with Toxic. That one was easily my favorite of all their albums. In my opinion, they just keep getting better. I bet this album will blow me away.
-
I really don't like AA's clean vocals D: the only band which will tour with DEG I like is Motionless in White...I went to high school with Motionless in White. They are insufferable douche bags and their music is damn terrible.
-
I actually really like that cover art!! However, the single itself I have lukewarm excitement for as I'm still on the high from the album. This is entirely too soon after the release of a full album.
-
The EP idea is kind of totally ridiculous, but it doesn't make me any less excited for this album. I'm hoping for a mostly dark album... Mostly things like Abyss and Otoshiana. They were soooooo so good.
-
Silly single title, but then again when are they ever not silly? Lol. I'm looking forward to the album. Two weeks before my birthday! With a DEATHGAZE release on the same day! Very very excited. Although, for the tour... No American dates... Oh well. I've come to expect it.
-
So they're coming back to America in march with a slew of opening acts and among them is a band of people I fought with a lot in high school. I am really annoyed by that.
-
Justice is a nice name for an album title. Short, sweet, to the point. I like it. Let's hope this album brings a little more to the table than Anomie. I sincerely love that album, but with songs like "Diorama Wonderland" and a slew of the other ones they have... Anomie doesn't measure up. Totally stoked for this album.
-
I managed to download the leaks, but they are in such poor quality I can't even make out the words or melody really. Looking forward tot he full-quality songs because they sound pretty good. But the girl in the cover REALLY looks like Lady Gaga lol. It's kind of scary.
-
Glad they aren't disbanding... And this official release of B-Sides is helpful to those of us who are anal retentive about the way their iTunes look... I'm excited to have the B-Sides without having it say "Rin: 45720724 albums!" But I do wish that they would release a new PV.

According to that list, Dir WILL be in Lancaster then? I'll be there.
