Happy life is BY FAR my favorite song they've released in years. The singles this latest album cycle were all really strong too.

I got more "washed out D'Ray" vibes from what I heard from their other stuff tbh, but in this song even the guitars remind me of some PRIVATE ENEMY-era tracks. The chorus can rot tho, it kills the song.

So it really does sound like PIERROT, huh? Thought my judgement was clouded given how I've been binging their stuff for the last couple of months lol I kinda liked evil and this one too, so who knows, this might actually be good.

CAN'T WAITTTTTTT Their last single was great and surprisingly fresh, so I hope the album delivers even further.

I don't even know lol I guess people started assuming she'd retire once she turned 40, which she is now. Who knows. Girl is probably tired as hell, her last tour alone went on for over 100 shows.

Japan's most talented and popular pop star (next to Utada Hikaru), Namie Amuro is gonna retire in 2018 after 25 (!) years. Japan is officially beyond repair. A new album and tour will be released next year. Her full announcement can be read below.

Yeah lol Kagrra, did the same (although in their case it was just the katakana writing of an English title, but given their history it was a big deal) right during their worst and most uninspired period as well. BUT to be fair, NoGoD had their first song with an English title in their debut EP (Strawberry Night), as well as a couple others in what is arguably one of their best releases ever (Mr. HEAVEN and Ring-a Ring-o in 羅針盤), so...
