It's pretty much a given that you stop listening to bands that are disbanded, the hype and euphoria surroudning that band is removes as soon as they disband as there is no new releases or news to look forward to. Human nature allows us to move on lol. E.g. PIERROT, Aliene Ma'raige, Phantasmagoria, GHOST (and MANY others) for me. Still love them, but havent heard them in AGES because of all the new music active bands produce.

Promotion only works for bands that release new music, and ALL those bands havent. sawDUST in me made a 2nd album, but due to unforseen circumstances, never released it. DWA announced it, but the band itself never followed through at the last minute i believe... BAAL have a new drummer and are doing a few live shows, they do have some new songs, but not enough to make a new CD. Mikito and Utarou are busy and when they do sell a new CD, it will most likely be independant of DWA, (can you even buy it from DWA?, i got mine from them themselves) Despair's vocalist Anna commited suicide, hence lack of releases. So thats the reason DWA havent promoted japanese goth/industrial, simple because there is no new material to promote. Also, you'll orgasm over the fact Jet Pepper Tower are releasing their first mini album. 「????塔?? on 2011 / 04 / 02
