Oh lawd yes give me more.

Recently ordered their single. It feels amazing to support the start of an indie vk act again. My 14 year old past self approves.

I just discovered this band and they have to be one of the best VK bands I've heard in years. Bless BLESS, I loved every track.

According to https://neotokyo2099.com/2019/01/13/luna-sea-vocalist-kawamura-ryuichi-had-surgery-for-lung-cancer/ it seems the cancer cells were removed and that it's unlikely he will need further radiation treatment. Wishing him well.

Edit- I lied it wasn't on those. I think it was a single compiled with Gyaku Gire. Speaking of...

San ga Koronda !! will never cease to be THE VK bop to me.

Vidoll was probably my all-time favourite back in the day. I own most of their discography and was obsessed since their early days. I enjoyed the Ayano-era the best and played their I My Ai Mai PV over and over. Rame's prominent basslines had me hooked. Boku Boku is a gem and Face Mayura, Face Pisaroto, If...Rebotomin and If...Torikabuto are still some of my most prized CDs. Although I lost interest after their major debut, I still followed and liked some songs here and there. Bastard was a solid effort, but I mostly liked the b-sides from their singles, like Red cube, Gaga Syrup, and Berry Jam Cleaner.

Same. I think the last VK album I purchased new upon release was Megaromania's Artistical Glint in 2012. Very impressed with these guys. Kind of shocked they don't seem to be getting much love here.

I was never a huge fan of them when they were in their prime, but they had some great songs. Maple Gunman stands out as one I liked a lot, and many of their earlier material. Sadly they lost a lot of appeal for me when Bou left, as I'm sure was the case for many others. Teruki is still highkey attractive.

deadman were definitely one of the greats. I love the god and death stars and KEEL, but man...I wish deadman would make a comeback and a couple more albums. blue badge, himawari, rem. and in media are still on heavy rotation for me to this day.

I remember them being well liked when I was first getting into the scene way back in like 2002ish. I had my favourites then so I didn't pay too much attention, but I do remember finding them pretty unique and experimental. I also remember goatbed being a pretty interesting band, too. Now that I'm older I think I appreciate them a lot more now. 14 is a solid effort.

The fact that Sugar's SWEETEST is included here made my day.

That Vivienne Westwood belt is the new token orb necklace of this vk era. green haired dude looks sick tho

Loving the sound of these guys, and anyone sporting Alice Auaa for that matter. Phalaenopsis for days.
-
I did not expect Feces to be as catchy as it was.
-
Post Coital Snow Color, it’s time. Also Ryouhei Ayabie had some proper bops. Gothic Party Speed Session and Daikei. It would be awesome to get the original lineup together.

*does I was about to edit that post to say Suicide Ali usually had super killer chorus' to save the rest of the sonic chaos happening.
-
They kind of remind me of Suicide Ali a bit. I dig Victim.
