    I've never had such trouble getting a phone as I am now. I preorded through apple and it says a delivery date of 5/7-5/14 and there was no option for express delivery, just free standard delivery, not sure why there's no FedEx or UPS option, something. Walmart has them online (not in store for some reason) with a delivery date of by 5/8 (was 5/7 the other day, but one days no big deal). Target has them, but for some bizarre reason it's in store only, why in the world they're not shipping online I don't know. Best buy also has them with a delivery date of 5/5.

     

    I never had this kind of problem trying to get a phone before, coming over from Android, I knew they were popular, but this is just delays and slowness for the sake of it.

     

    Edit - Finally went from processing to Preparing to ship and they finally took the money out for it, asked around and it should ship tomorrow. 😵

    Just watched some of a live recording of TRNTY D:CODE and I'm so disappointed, Kai can't sing for shit, the scratching of the turntables is disjointed, the guitar is drowned out, whoever set up their shit needs fired and Kai needs vocal lessons and fast.

      @Ikna I always wondered why a lot of fans of Japanese goth absolutely despise Vkei and refuse to acknowledge any connection. Like, you can't tell me Madame Edwarda and G-Schmitt did not influence early Vkei

      @Himeaimichu The only explanation I have is that goth in itself is so heavily misunderstood and our subculture was often mistaken for a lot of things that have barely anything to do with it. The scene has kinda developed a disdain to be linked to anything vaguely non-post-punk and it's very anal about categorizations. For the same reason it's become impossible to bring up "proper" gothic metal á la Type O Negative to the table. You will be shutdown quite fast for these people will "educate" you how bands like type o are 100% metal and metal isn't goff. It doesn't matter that Type O's sound is heavily influenced by post-punk or that a gothic metal band like Paradise Lost straight covered a bunch of goth rock bands like the Sisters of Mercy.

       

      I guess it's the same with VK. Goths don't want to be confused with/linked to VK fandom and japanese heavy rock music. I remember that tension already existed way back in 2007, when some goth people I knew were very pissed off by the fact that Moi dix Mois were playing at WGT. (the irony here is, that a  lot of music at the WGT festival isn't even goth, but EBM, Metal…). Their argument was that this new invasion of japanese "faux-goth" will muddle the scene. Believe me, I tried educating some friends about the links between early Vk and post-Punk, but they keep insisting, that VK, because of its Metal influences nowadays, is a blight on the scene andhas no connection.

      I can understand that they want their own identity and history and to not be lumped with vk. I'm sure Japanese goth probably came to Japan due to the import of German goth, much like how Japanese hip hop came from importing from the US in the 80's.

    Atsushi needs to get his ass in gear, emailed CDJapan today and they finally got back to me, said they'd asked when they would ship my stuff and never got a reply, so they'll try again. I guess he's been too busy to ship stuff? 🤔 That's what happens when one person runs everything.

At this point I'm resigned to the fact that it will most likely be 14 or more days and I won't get it until next month.

    CDJ changed the shipping method for my order and issued a refund and sent a new total which is fine, but apparently they accidentally already shipped it without the new payment. I don't want the person who did it fired, so I hope the refunded money shows up in my bank account soon 😅

    Every 3-6 months I find myself going back to deadman, it's a shame that they're essentially disbanded again if things don't improve, but yeah. Hopefully we get a new DVD before it's all said and done.

    Finally have all of EX-ANS, which saved me what I'll be putting into getting the rest of HATE HONEY from Cdjapan, or God knows what else, maybe Dear Rockers by DEEP which is an iconic album considering hide loved them, and it's impossible to find.
