    Edit: will get back later...
  2. I like how it jumps straight from Heavenly ~films~ to Heart's promo finale. Like...where the heck is Reincarnation live or Carnival of True then? Don't tell me they were meant to be "pure TV specials" (I hate that kind of formatting tbqh)
  3. UNDER THE SUN leftover for sure.

@Relentless: DEG has had many, much weirder artworks in the past - so this shouldn't really cause any "disgust" in our fandom (I remember when people used to HATE Glass Skin's artwork - just because it wasn't "DEG-gy" enough). No one pointed this out, but they haven't used pink color in their artworks for awhile...ever since Gauze osakajo-hall live DVD, I guess. Other than that, I am glad that they uppercased the title.

People who start instantly hating on new artwork off STU while instantly liking DIFFERENT SENSE artwork (seriously? Naked man's rear? Very different indeed)...pfffft. Other than that: translated part of natalie.mu info> (thanks kyotakumrau@tumblr): Inb4 twist: Kyo being the actual "model" and sporting that look in a new PV, lel. (must be a very good Kyo lookalike tbqh)

Kerrang! Tour is not a festival though : |

By "lower keys" I meant what they have done with Byou Shin for instance in 2012, aka replacing E5 riffs with seven-stringed A5 riffs etc. (also, compare the key in old Kiri to Mayu and new one)
  9. Pretsy

Was it any different from original HADES in "Six Ugly" ? Anything other than grunting, that is (like for instance, did they play it in lower key?)
  10. Pretsy

Frankly enough, the "campy" influence of DEG comes through Kaoru (constant nu metal / deathcore riffage, that is).
  11. Update: http://www.hmv.co.jp/en/artist_Five-Finger-Death-Punch_000000000363902/item_The-Wrong-Side-Of-Heaven-The-Righteous-Side-Of-Hell-Vol-2-Deluxe-Edition_5542428 Apparently Kyo did "collab-ish" (just replacing Max Cavalera's parts with his own I guess) thing with them much earlier before their future recording in their latest album's Japan Deluxe version (let's assume it's as same as Apocalyptica's Bring Me to the Light with Joe Duplantier vs. with Kyo - kind of thing) I just can't really see/hear Kyo in some testosterone-heavy song, sry guys.
  12. So I got this one (quoting as always): source: http://www.theprp.com/2013/11/24/news/five-finger-death-punch-sitting-on-collaborations-with-rob-zombie-demon-hunter-dir-en-grey-singers/ I don't dig the band (FFDP) at all so yeah, not sure how I should take this... Inb4 Kyo collab in a new Call of Duty game /sadtrombone

'Metamorphosis' sounds like much heavier BLUE TRANSPARENCY (if it was covered by Coaltar of the Deepers) to me (at least I thought about that song) 'Absorb' is as fun as SHINE's non-single songs...a.k.a. not really fun

(Un)fortunately enough, their pop-centered era is much more interesting than their early vk days. Not really convincing previews but as we all know, A9 will defo bring some surprises along the way
  15. Wild Romance City Hall (gonna ditch soon tho) And as a small rant (after seeing the most parts of former): directors/screenwrites/those responsible for the cast, just please ditch those "music superstars" who haven't shown any potential during "cast hunting sessions" - instead of relying on "oh, let's put this cutie one here so we will boost our ratings up skyhigh - in total no-brainer way!"-kind of method. I haven't really put this issue on my map until I saw SNSD's Jessica being totally annoying in "Wild Romance". I tried my best not to mind her but now her pretentiousness on-screen and anemic characteristics go even beyond the "multi-bitchslap-worthy" act. In other words, if you can't act - then don't do it. You will only lose your face in front of fandom in the end...

To knock on Ryuujii and side with wonrei, I did this http://www.ip-adress.com/reverse_ip/sukekiyo-official.jp So yeah, it's 100% DEG-related news (more closely enough to Kyo tho, the same IP hosts his Zemeckises-comic/merch site too)
  18. Not really amused by these previews. Not to say that their music didn't really change after "Headache and Dub Reel Inch" (still the same "Swagyume"), except for probably 7-string guitars (looking at you, KAZ)
  19. Pretsy

Won't actually say that they are "overhyped in vain" - considering that their influence catered the vk scene much more than X did (yeah, not "JAYRAWK" here, bro) Depends on what kind of albums you've listened to anyway. If you want a better taste of what LS really is - go with 4 first albums. Back to the topic - "Glowing" isn't anything spectacular, hm.

Would say that Tekken 1-5 (+ TTT) soundtracks in the first place (but mostly Tekken 2 tho): also, various nostalgia busters: (Stewart Copeland in general is a pure genius )
  21. It's not like I am very nostalgia-biased anyway. I am okay with your situation, I just felt like I had to express my disliking towards Kiyoharu's late predictability in terms of songwriting (well come to think of it, Aron and Misery are oddly similar). When it comes to "paying attention to their roots", they have played their post-Fake Star songs basically all the time ever since their reunion...Oh yes, I do acknowledge the fact that Kiyoharu DOES NOT want to play vk-era songs again (except for "Autism", but it's sort of an oddball in RoS). Hoping for a good "Grande Finale", if that's going to be their "last album". The content should live up to their whole history as a band and their "many faces" (instead of "hey check this out, we have swag and we are punk as fuck!"-attitude) imho. To add to my "Feminism" comment - by that I am trying to say that their earlier albums had VARYING SONGWRITING (see: Fake Star and Feminism for instance). Consider that to be my "personal keyword" in terms of listening tendencies.

Capsule's "Soratobu Toshikeikaku" Unf dem vogue feels.
  23. So I haven't really heard of "Guernika" being a trailer song or anything... Other than that, to knock on Platanity's comment - I must say the key problem of modern Kuroyume is Kiyoharu himself. Yes, you heard it - I think he is really burdening the creativity of their cooperation with his own, solo-type of songs, which don't really belong to the repertoire of Kuroyume imho (you could also ask long-time Kuroyume listeners about that too). I really gave up on waiting for "new Feminism" song/album-wise, so yeah, not really excited in this.
