    As NUMBER GIRL reformed and I was hype, I wanted to get news of other projects from all members. And well, there's really too much good news for this beginning of the year, looks like 2019 is blessed.

     

    On April 3rd, VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE are coming back from a 5-year releases break for their fourth full album!

    Finally, after having reformed in December 2016, the post-punk/indie rock band SPARTA LOCALS announced a new album for 2019!

    Scheduled for February 6, this is the first album for 11 years with the album "Leecher" released in 2008!

    The label that will have the hard work to release this eighth long-awaited album will be P-VINE.

     

    More details will be revealed later.

    Well, in addition to the fact that I find this song so powerful. This is one of the first where I really don't understand anything. As much when I listen to music I understand some kanjis and I can understand a little bit the song. But there, it speaks of ミーガン法 or ロール感, I do not understand anything at all. If anyone would have the time and the kindness to translate this gobbledygook, I will be very grateful to him. Thanks in advance !

    I uploaded it myself, this trip-hop/rock masterpiece should be more famous ! The last 2 tracks are particularly really good. This is my best melancholic stuff. (and no! It's not the visual kei band!!)

These Group Sounds' bands like this or The Golden Cups, or the depressive psyche rock band Jacks are so awesome. Buy the book Japrocksampler if you're interested on the birth of Japan's rock birth, and who are the parents !

    After having released nothing for nearly 4 years, the shoegaze trio come backs with a mini-album called SPIRAL, it will be released on September 26, digitally, and distributed during the lives. The self-titled song SPIRAL is already on streaming services like Spotify.

    @bryyodt Thanks for the lives, I updated the links ! I haven't check a lot their Vimeo page, so I don't saw that they were posting live footages.

     

    I agree with the CD-R's, from what I search, it looks like Too Late Appearance is available for Spotify but only for Japan (https://open.spotify.com/album/09CLzyhPRYXX1q7THXEvKB)

    And since they distribute Milk Sessions during the live, we can only hope that someone at Klan Aileen's concert hear our wish. Even more complicated for Live at Milkyway since there must be no available copy. I just hope they release Live release from the Milk Tour.

    Well, I had to make this page, it's the 150th time I've been listening to Milk, and it's a different trip every time I listen to it. A trip between relaxation, annihilation and nil. So I think they deserve a page.

    Klan Aileen is a psychedelic rock band founded on August 2007 in Kagoshima by Ryo Matsuyama. Originally a trio that consisted of Ryo Matsuyama (vocals/guitar), Takahiro Takeyama (bass) and Sayata Orita (drums), with this formation, the band began to perform in the region and took the opportunity to distribute CD-R during their live show: Too Late Appearance in April 2008, Changing Diaper Is Not For Tomorrow's Lunch in January 2009 and Astroride in October 2010. After the release of Astroride, the band moves to Tokyo and at the same time Takahiro leaves the band. He is replaced at short notice by a new bassist Daiki Ito. And Klan Aileen begins a new musical life in Tokyo. But in late 2011, Sayata and Daiki leave the band, leaving Ryo alone. And it's the return of Takahiro, now in drums, that will revive the band. In 2012, the label youth records contacted Klan Aileen to re-release the album Astroride. And from that moment, the two men continues the lives and releases the albums Klan Aileen in 2016 and Milk in 2018.

    Like their line-up, the music style of the band has changed a lot over time. From a very garage start, the sound of the band has swallowed several styles such as noise rock, post-punk, krautrock and even a bit of post-rock in their latest album to release it in a psychedelic mixture that can be loud and calm.

    Well, when somebody is talking to me about a band called Libido, he thinks of 10s' visual kei band, and me I think of this 80s' post-punk mix with a lots of genres (and maybe visual kei) band. (This clip has always "scared" me a bit)

    I'm here again with Psysalia Psysalis Psyche. But I can't help it, all their words seem so intriguing to me.

    This time, I spent the afternoon transcribing Narrow's lyrics from the CD booklet. (Finding old kanji when Shion's pronunciation plays with the times is really complicated.)

    Only with the pre-translations of Google Translate, I'm already hype to know these words.

    テスラは泣かない。(Tesla wa Nakanai. / TESLA doesn't know how to cry.) are going to release their fourth album on May 23, 2018.

     

    Titled 偶然とか運命とか (Guuzen Toka Unmei Toka), it will contain 10 tracks, including the track "Atene", already present on their 2017's mini-album. (Previously identified as an album, they finally identified it as a mini-album since it's 8 tracks.) The track 2 "Darwin" was in their free single, released on March.
