nooooo this is sad..

yeah same i don't know if i should take the day off work they're playing in october (and try to get a ticket) or if they're going to have more lives after that.. i would like to go to the last one before the break. i'm hoping they'll keep going to the end of the year so we can have tsuzuku and koichi's birthday lives.

i've been kind of avoiding reading too much of people speculating (only skimmed over the 6 pages here really).

people online seem to be in one of two groups and it's just ugh stop.

(those groups:

- "hope they don't come back they've been shit since (insert year)"/"hope they come back with better songs because everything new is shit"
- NOOOOOO THEY'RE LEAVINGGGGG FOREVERRRRRRRRR MY HUSBAND COME BACK I'LL DIE)

 

i went to some recent lives and the niigata live was definitely depressing with all the people crying (although dropping to your knees and screaming and refusing to move is a bit fucking ridiculous, some people) but understandable since it was the first one with no encore and everyone was kind of shocked. the band definitely didn't seem happy there. fukuoka live after 5 days rest since sendai they looked in better spirits for sure.

i think they'll keep up the no encore until the tour final but maybe for the final play an encore.

hoping/expecting some big announcement at the tour final or at least at the fc tour final in july. until then i'm avoiding speculating too much on what i think they're doing.

morrigan new look overall reminds me of those guys from final fantasy 7 advent children

 

i'm listening to the new cd now and i love it as always but i agree that it sounds like nothing new, most of their stuff sounds really similar (not always a bad thing i guess).

 

the first time i came to japan i was SUPPOSED TO first be seeing mejibray's oneman tour final at zepp divercity (june 2014). it would have been my first show in japan my favourite band's big show and i was so excitedddd for months.

but meto had that accident where he fell out a window or whatever and everything got rescheduled for months later.

so my first show ended up being nokubura at shinjuku blaze.

Couple things to note:

I saw Brand X already put it on their site ~ I didn't notice it on other stores yet

i mostly just have predictions of mejibray since they consume my days off and everything in my bank account, leaving nothing for any other band

 

- mia does some kind of collab or solo project outside of mejibray and nobody really cares

- he also has at least 3 new prince outfits that are difficult to tell apart

- somebody gets sick and the schedule is in danger somehow

- at least 5 new cds and 3 new dvds

- two more tours after the one in may already announced

 

in terms of other bands i wanted to predict initial'L flopping more than already but someone else covered this

 

hoping to see malisend members in new bands but not holding my breath

for the DVD release the instores are 2shot cheki event

(they didn't announce what the CD instores will be yet but i'd guess signing/talk/handshake, assuming they're offering 2shot only to get more people to buy multiple copies of overpriced DVD)

for me the main point of all their announcements is THEY ARE FINALLY DOING INSTORE WHERE I CAN TAKE PHOTO WITH THEM I WILL BUY 10 COPIES OF THIS DVD.

actual dvd/cd content is pretty irrelevant compared to that.

i like the song a lot (except it stays in my head for so long after listening but i guess that's good for them) ~ i like the contrast of the verse and chorus and i like that a lot of their recent songs i can hear all the nice bass going on more clearly than in the older songs

 

but then i didn't dislike much of their recent work anyway. i didn't think agitato grimoire was anything special but i was maybe one of few people who loved the end..

i saw him with femme fatale also. he seemed pretty cool, his personality on stage was funny.

koichi's eyebrow piercing is gone in his recent picture and also at yesterday's instore (after the picture i was waiting for the instore so i could inspect..). maybe he's not putting it back ?

is this news ? xD stuff as minor as this is news to me

i wasn't at today's live to look again

usually i wake up and say out loud "fuuuuuuckkkkk, worrrrrkkkkkkkkkk". then if i realise it's actually my day off i'm pleased and get out of bed to enjoy my day off. if i realise i actually have work i go back to sleep and try to avoid work.

i'm from scotland.

while living there as a kid/teenager i visited these places during family vacations:

- england and wales of course but never ireland for some reason

- france

- spain

- netherlands

- germany

- norway

- malta

- greece

- cyprus

- USA (only florida, for disney)

- india (and bahrain if it counts that the flight stops there on the way)

 

on my own (alone because i have no friends) while i lived in scotland i visited

- also england and france

- sweden

- japan (for 3 week vacation only in tokyo)

but england and france and sweden were only to see lives because no japanese artist ever goes to scotland. i think vamps and dir en grey have been there.

 

then i moved to live in south korea for a year and i visited all over korea (well not all over north korea, only to the DMZ. organised trips to north korea are never when i can be off work. but you can see pretty much all the good stuff in south korea within a year even if you're working a lot because it's a small country).

while i lived in korea i visited hong kong for a few days. but i didn't really like hong kong much, i only went there to go to disney land.

and i went to japan maybe about 10 times within a year. to tokyo, osaka, fukuoka and sapporo. in weekends and vacation times. i was living not so far from busan so i could take a ferry to fukuoka pretty easily.

 

then i moved to japan.

in japan i've lived in tokyo, nagano prefecture and yamaguchi prefecture.

i'm trying to visit places all over japan now (but only when it's convenient for lives or instores. i'm not spending money travelling around different cities just for sightseeing. but spending money travelling across the country for mejibray is fine).

so far in japan places i've been to are:

- tokyo

- the place around mount fuji where every tourist goes

- osaka

- kyoto

- nagoya

- places all over nagano when i lived there

- places all over yamaguchi while i'm living here

- fukuoka

- kitakyushu (because it's between here and fukuoka and sometimes i end up having to work there. there are no lives or instores there)

- hiroshima (and miyajima)

- sapporo

next month i will go to sendai for the first time~

i miss korea a lot sometimes even though i love japan.

 

i think the first time i went to japan for 3 weeks in tokyo i brought/spent about £2000 and stayed in a business hotel. i mostly ate convenience store food and travelled by train or subway.

i can't decide what to get them to sign at instore at all but i can't afford to buy many dvds so they can sign all my stuff.. can't decide between the most recent mirror or just choosing nice chekis to sign .. i got my old mirrors signed but i always end up breaking them.

other than those, i spend at least 33% of my pay on mejibray every month (goods, tickets for stuff, transport and accommodation to go to stuff) and occasionally other bands' stuff

when i first saw those photos i was thinking 'i wish the whole band had done this look, i want to see this koichi awww'. but then i remembered how tsuzuku would look like that.
