I remembering people criticizing kpop fans for the same thing, since some of them claimed to hate western rap when kpop didn't differ that much from it except for the language. However, there's no simple answer. People are who they are, and they like what they like. Why not just leave it at that? There's simply no point in arguing with people about their music taste. I am not a huge OOR fan but if it would happen to a artist/band I'd really like I would get pretty annoyed regarding the fans behavior. I don't understand how respect for someones personal life can be such a weird concept for some people. And I really don't think an artist is doing anything wrong when they address fans for behaving crazy. I mean, if you do something stupid you should be prepared of the consequences. Then again a artist shouldn't judge their whole fanbase for being shitty when just a few people of that fandom is but I do understand if they get pissed and lash out at everyone – they are humans, after all.

Sorry, but no. But I don't compare new bands to old bands either. If we compare bands all the time I don't think we'll ever find newer bands to like c:

I think the words "hugely successful" are quite debatable when it comes to vk bands, but speaking of own experience I feel like D=OUT had a lot of more fans before – now I don't hear about them that often. But I can't say for sure if they have lost popularity.

Watched Arrival recently and I loved it. The plot was great, and the hidden message in it was so beautiful that it made me cry lol. I really recommend it!
