Luna Sea covers MUCC's cover of Deja Vu.

Buck Tick covers 25ji no Yuuutsu

DEG will definitely NOT be on a MUCC tribute album.
-
I could see Merry contributing, possibly covering one of MUCC's more wanky songs like Saishuu Ressha.
-
Calling it now, XAA-XAA will be on the tribute album.
-
I haven't been this perplexed since DEG's Kisou look where Kaoru slapped a facehugger from Aliens on his head.

RREEEEYYUAAARRRRRRGH LOOKIT MY KYO POSE BUT I AM IN BLACK BODY PAINT I AM NOT KYO
-
Are they actually going on stage like this? This is the worst.
-
It's going to sound like The Black Swan. In other words, Nega with slightly more skilled musicians. Jin is really just a one trick pony.
-
Cutting myself on all that edge. Jeez.
-
I'd say this is supposed to be a joke or ironic or satire or something, but I think it's just garbage.
-
I think Kyo kept talking about death as a joke in reference to the question about what they'd choose for a final meal. He also hinted at the fact that he's probably not answering seriously.
-
He sounded better on the Arche Budokan DVD. Like, he did real blast beats on The Inferno. I was kind of assuming that doing a DSS tour had something to do with some newfound confidence in the material instead of just diving into a tour after not playing the stuff together in the same room.

Is it a Dead End cover?
-
Die what are you doing?
-
Both bands are taxing on Kyo's vocals, but he's doing way more weird nonsense in DEG, and going from one extreme to the other while maintaining clean melodies in between — sometimes in the span of a few seconds — requires more focus and training than I think Kyo has. Though the Arche Budokan live tells me he's trying.

As any 40 year old man should.
-
The promo pics gave it away anyway. They're holding razors.
-
I think no one listed Sadie yet because it would be too easy. Hell, just post the entirety of Madrigal de Maria and call it a day.
-
I just realized that's true. But he's just straight up not in this one at all. I could have sworn there were a couple instances of him doing vocals, but I'm probably wrong. Time me to dig thru all the DVDs!
-
They'll probably fix it for the album version, lol. I could hear the jangly stuff faintly, but I didn't realize it was actually a guitar part until I watched the Utafumi DVD. You get to see Die play it. Shinya kills it in the studio footage. And oddly enough, they don't show Kyo recording.
-
That's almost what they did. In the single mix his chorus part was buried in the right channel, but for DSS it's front and center and louder. He's doing some of his trademark melodic jangly/flicka stuff in the chorus of Utafumi. But, again, buried.
-
I hate the DSS mix for Lotus and Hageshisa. The only good thing about the DSS version of Hageshisa is Die's melodic funk lick in the chorus is more prominent.
-
Yes, in my personal experience, you're the first person I've encountered that said they like it. It's one of my favorites on DSS, so I was starting to feel alone for a bit there.

I pretty much agree with everything already said. Utafumi is great, Kuukoku with Sugizo ends up sounding like an afterthought; I honestly wish they had just done a "shot in one take" version with Sugizo so it would sound more organic instead of, well, Sugizo playing on top of the original. Revelation remix is awful, and why they chose to WUB WUB a track like this is beyond me. The DVD that comes with the limited edition is awesome though.
