that yamikakumei thing has already been discussed on the ktk news/band threads but most likely yes thats the case as @Takadanobabaalienwould attest to. visual kei and all its scams, LOL. the shimizuya stuff makes no sense tho, sibire aren't at all close to the ktk guys, i have no clue where you're getting this from but a few 2man dates doesn't equate to bff status. you won't know whats happening with them unless you've read stuff on tanu (which we all know how accurate it is), and as shimizuya is continuing to promote them, there's no reason to assume they'll call it quits OR that they'll instantly be wanted by ains. i don't think you get how labels work in the indies scene, these two labels aren't all that relevant in the greater scheme of things. if anything i'd see them on terakoya but that's talk for later indie bands copy each other all the time it has little to do with labels, its like saying any band who has done anything similar to avelcain's menhera act is copying them and thus they will come back magically and sign with their label. for example Timely has xaa xaa and since they wore red and had a razor in the video while moaning about despair then suddenly they'll sign with them. pretty much every band does that now, lol, gossip aren't unique in that regard and i doubt they give a rats ass as to what avelcain are doing, they've been in bands longer than karma or zen. and also, shimizuya probably isn't as evil as everyone probably makes them out to be...there's always two sides to a story and while its really easy to claim that they're awful because lycaon and avelcain were alleged to have left them because of being overworked or whatever but that happens all across the scene. its just that lycaon were probably too old to keep dealing with it, and now they get to go at their own pace. just my two cents

Hello...this is edgelord EMMNY herself...reporting to you live from some MESS the main question is whether you think that it'd be possible to effectively crowdfund an indies band and or organize gofundme projects for their fav bands. the context behind this is a (now cancelled) fundraiser set up for doguramagura in which the organizer would be approaching people to donate to their alleged upcoming studio expenses as they'd require 1000 dollars (if im not mistaken) before the 25th or else (for what, i don't know). the issue here is that there's no way any donor would know exactly where the money would be going, especially considering this is a band with a lead vocalist/porn star so mentally unstable he makes akane look like a saint (sound off in the comments with receipts ladies cuz its messy). this band's awful reputation aside, i can't see any of this as ethical considering the nature of the indies scene. ignoring how poorly this was done/planned, i think this could actually work in direct co-operation with the band where they'd outline their expenses and ask for financial help from foreigner fans. they could even offer perks for helping, like cheki or handwritten notes or even ensuring an exclusive press of a CD for crowdfunders (assuming the band is entirely self produced). 1k for studio expenses seems off but like, if a trash indiefag band got $45 bucks in one day, then i dont see why more popular and reputable indie bands can't benefit. i want to know if you'd think crowdmitsu i mean crowd funding your fav's studio/live/etc expenses is a good idea. sound off in the comments, i found this really interesting!! they're definitely not that popular, i wonder who booked them at o-west; i saw it on twitter and thought i was hallucinating bc they're an incredibly niche band. i don't think they're stupid enough to do this, i wouldn't even see them filling up area half way let alone half of o-west. i hope it wasn't terakoya trying to promote them with the obligatory o-west tour final then realizing they pushed way too hard and now they'll punish the band.
