I feel the same way as you. Been going in and out of the visual kei scene, so I wasn't really in tune with the newer bands coming out. But have been finding more bands lately that I really enjoy, and it has restored my faith in visual kei. Maybe some of them you will like too. Just keep looking around... Lyrics usually are important to me whether they end up being good or bad lyrics in my opinion. I just like to know what they're saying and what the song is about. Also, since I'm into studying Japanese, I love to learn the lyrics to better understand the language. Partly that's why I buy CDs... So I can get the lyrics lol It always frustrates me when I get CD -- whether it's American, Japanese, etc. -- and it doesn't have the lyrics! >_<

Hmmm... Didn't care for them when they first started and still personally not a fan. Their singer does have a really nice singing voice, though.

I enjoy the English songs even with her heavy accent. Just really well done. She's so talented! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for some good, indie J-Pop music to give her a try.

I chose my username because I thought "shinobu" was a cool name. Not as creative as the awesome people here with their usernames lol

I definitely went through such phases... not saying it is a phase for you, but if it is just let it run its course. Sometimes it's good to take a break. For me it helped me appreciate visual kei even more. For you, it may just not be your cup of tea anymore, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Currently watching the anime, "Noragami"~ Really like it! Wish it were English dubbed, though.
