Yeah, Warped Tour is finally getting a bit of a restructuring and seems to be bringing at least one Japanese band every year the last few years so I still have some hope. ;w; I'm amazed too since they are kind of the elder band of that Crossfaith/coldrain trilogy they're a part of. But their sound is also probably the most unique so it didn't catch as fast as the others. And maybe you're right, if they felt they wanted to build up their foundation in Japan first. It's hard to tell. 
 
I hope we both get to catch them next time! 

Ah yeah that's super true. I feel like SiM would do great on Warped Tour especially is it continues to be the way it was this year. I've noticed they seem to be going in a different direction and I think SiMs style would fit that. I'm amazed as to how SiM hasn't gone anywhere sooner especially with their rep in Japan compared to those who have gone other places before them. I guess it's all about opportunity or I know some bands will turn away some opportunities to tackle their home country first. It's a big toss up.  Either way still wish I could have made it to see them... but work has been the most unreal time theif this year. Plus I didn't know anyone to go with aside from Daiki, but he had plans this weekend too so he wouldn't have been able to go.

Well for SiM I think they've met a few of the heavy hitters because of playing Knotfest in Japan a few times (where they are obviously a bigger deal on the ticket) so it's more about just getting the American fans to notice them? I do agree, making more band friends is a good idea, always. And social media is a monster when it comes to "who are my faves hanging out with" but... a one day show makes that really hard, imo. This is a business of networking, but a one/two day event is a little harder to do that then say Warped Tour (which I think is IDEAL for them and wonder why tf they haven't already been on it.) And Crossfaith also was able to do their networking because their first euro tour was a BIG tour with Of Mice & Men and effing Bring Me The Horizon, then they did an American tour with Enter Shikari (which put them in front of an audience damn near tailored for their sound at the time). Then they did big festivals and warped tour (multiple times in every country Warped Tour hits!) NTM they had a big song with their cover of OMEN. So people were hearing about Crossfaith before they really got to see their faves with them. I do think there is some strange connection that when a Japanese band does a lot of promoting overseas somehow their rep back in Japan EXPLODES. I'm not sure why but I see this a lot. Crossfaith has also branched out because their sound has changed, and become more approacheable so as soon as they went major they were able to grow their fanbase. It's a lot of things but I think Crossfaith were awesome and taking advantage of everything that came their way.

Sorry I meant bands that have a strong following, their fans will be curious as to who they're hanging out with. My roommate started talking to me mid thought and I skipped over that lol

Yeah, I think they have a crew that is dealing with it for them so they barely hear about it unless they go to see what's going on (which probably TM is doing for them) but I saw Mah post about no merch too so I wonder what's up with Knotfest. Maybe whoever on the Knotfest Japan side is underestimating shipping times/custom times... Unless they have a merch company on this side who is failing, but then idg the shipping issue. :/ 

SiM looked like they were in a rush to get out and explore after the show so I get the feeling they don't have a lot of time to spend here, maybe the same for HNIB. Won't be surprised if they have the same crew handling them. But Mah acts like he really wants to come back (I assume its the same for the others).  But if MWAM has been doing this a few times, you would think they would work with the same people and get things together for all the Japanese acts? :/ Strange. I hope they get to come back soon tho. I'm seeing a lot of people begging for an east coast show on social media so maybe they'll get over here.  

I saw they ended up not playing KiLLiNG ME but like... still wish I coulda gone.  No Merch either from what I saw Mah post. Like bless you Knotfest for bringing bands but like... merch seems to be an issue with this specific music festival. LOL I don't even know if HNIB even knew they had shirts there or not. They were kinda like we might have merch somewhere idk. Before we found the table I was under the impression they didn't have any merch at all because they didn't have their own table or anything. But if I'm being honest... HNIB looked like they were like wow vacation to AMERICA? oh wait let's play a few songs real quick BYE EVERYONE. Sorry this turned completely off topic... I HOPE SIM DID GREAT HERE FOR THEIR FIRST SHOW AND WERE SMARTER THAN HNIB AND LIKE TALKED WITH OTHER BANDS OR SOMETHING.

I requested to go to court to try and reduce or waive the ticket. But still I didn't know the process so I felt anxious that I'd embarass myself and be expected to know certain things about court etiquette or whatever. But it was actually really easy. They cut my ticket in half and gave me a hella extension. The only reason the Judge didn't waive it completely was because the City Council sets the fine for the specific ticket I got, and the Judge was only allowed to reduce it to half.  

This is PSC and gazette we are talkin bout here. The bonuses are meant to encourage buyers to pay higher prices

i wouldn't even wanna wear it for that price. like. for real. What if it gets damaged. BUT THEN LIKE I FEEL LIKE HANGING SHIRTS UP IS WEIRD.  so I just wouldn't buy it.
