I'm happy to see 花占い made it on there since it's by far my favorite track on the mini and I've listened to it at least 100 times by now. Also glad to see other people agree [on the poll]. Xaa Xaa is fucking fantastic and well on their way to being one of my favorite bands.

I've only been to two lives outside of Japan (The Candy Spooky Theater in Boston in 2007 and Ayabie in New York in 2008) Bands used to come within traveling distance but I was really young back then so it was impossible for me to go most of time. Also moshing with Jojo and Hikaru during Mimizu. It's usually just Hikaru but Jojo got down with us since it was his birthday. He got his ass tossed around like a ragdoll. 6/20: I felt like I was about to throw up the entire live, and I particularly felt horrible during Gallo's set but I tried to have as much fun as I could. The band definitely noticed as I got both Hikaru and Wajou's picks and some worried looks that evening. I left after their set and ran into the former vocalist of a band I liked in middle school and talked to him a bit. 6/25: Marblehead entered the stage from the back of the room and walked through the audience while the bassist was holding the vocalist by a leash. It was so wtf but I quite liked them. 7/6: Taa dumped a crate of ice cubes on us then we went straight into Dekiai Kuranke and everyone was slipping everywhere. Taa also climbed up to the mezzanine, dove on us, and we carried him back to the stage, and then sat on my head and almost ripped out my earring. Oh Taa.... 7/26: During the encore Ryoga stage dove directly on me and my friend knocking us down to the floor and landing right on top of us. He kicked me in the face as he got himself up and used my friend's chest as a step to get himself back on stage, and when he got back on stage he spat water on us. Thanks dude. 8/10: I was dosen for 2nd Awake and when Aika came down to two step with us during Contradiction he tripped over my feet and almost fell on a bunch of gya in the second row. 8/12: HaL got off stage during one song and started crawling and flipping all over the seats in the front-left section of the venue trying to get people to sing for him.

I liked 90's Kpop when I was growing up and the occasional song in the past 6 or so years but I just can't take it seriously musically. Sure some of it is fun, but it's low quality and substanceless and it's way over hyped. So I avoid it like the plague

Love Live and Banjo Tooie

I'm American so I'm an English native. I majored in Japanese graduated from my university with a degree in it almost 2 weeks ago. I haven't taken the actual JLPT but based on practice tests I'd say that my reading level is about N2 level and my speaking is N3. I'm looking to live and work in Japan so I'm hoping to achieve fluency one day. I studied Mandarin Chinese for 3 years in high school. My teacher was Taiwanese so I learned traditional characters I took a placement test in college and managed to place into intermediate level courses but I haven't done anything since then so I'm extremely rusty, but I'd really love to get back into it. At my prime I was able to interpret for a friend when she had to go to the DMV.
