Number Girl 48 Posted July 27, 2011 Is it weird that I feel sorry for the poor squid?
nekkichi 6043 Posted July 27, 2011 lol, that reminds me of one of my lunches in Honk Kong we went to a Japanese place where they were cooking living sea creatures, basically throwing giant shrimps, crab and some weird vagina-looking mollusks on a teppan, and they were convulsing all the time during the cooking. felt no empathy for them though, but they were exceptionally fresh and tasty. Asakusa 95 Posted August 2, 2011 As horrible as this looks, the squid is indeed dead! What you're seeing is the reaction of the salt in the soy sauce with the neurons in the squid, making it flail about. idk
