Yoshiki's "Ultimate Band"

So what does everyone think of Yoshiki's "Ultimate Band". So far supposedily the line up is:

- Yoshiki (X-Japan)

- Gackt (Malice Mizer, Solo)

- Sugzio (Luna Sea, The Flare)

And I also just heard that Miyavi is part of it now. I'm not sure if that is true though, because it's not from the most reliable source.

But anyway, even if Miyavi joined up with them, that wouldn't do anything for me. Yoshiki is really cool, because he got the TRAX together, he also produced "Gauze" for Dir en grey, which was an amazing album, and I think he put together one more band that's really good, but besides that he doesn't really do much for me. Gackt, he was one of the guys that got me into J-rock, but I don't really like Malice Mizer, nor his solo stuff. Sugzio, LUNA SEA was all right, they had a couple good songs, and the Flare was pretty cool, but I like FAKE? better. And as for Miyavi, I don't know he just looks cool, but besides that and his goofy attitude, he's nothing real special, so yeah.

Id go see them play for sure. But having Miyavi in it makes me laugh alittle

Yeah Miyavi is really goofy. I was going to watch the videos of him playing in Las Vegas, but YouTube loads so slow and I loaded the first part and he didn't even really play he was too busy goofing around, lol.

Ok anyway, back on topic. So does anyone even know if Miyavi is officially in this band. I read that he announced he was going to tour the US and Europe this year to next year too.

they announce it at Jrock fest in L.A

and this band name is S.K.I.N

i want to hear a song from them

i hope it'll be good

i know the member of this band from great j-rockers

but... learn from football team, real madrid

they have so many great player

but they dont fit as a team

Yoshiki said in an inteview that they were all friends for a while before they started the band, so hopefully they'll be able to agree on things. Unforutnately for me, none of the artists really do anything for me. I like Yoshiki the best.

There's a preview of what I think could be how they will sound at the PSCompany site. Sounds pretty heavy, I like it. If it is gonna be their sound, I can tell they'll be awesome. That kind of stuff, with Yoshiki on drums and Gackt doing vocals? Holy hell.

And I heard they've already recorded like 8 songs or something. XD

I thought Yoshiki said that they might not have a bassist. They'll have a support one probably, but not another "legend" I don't think.
