They broke onto the visual kei scene alongside a multitude of other artists in the early 1990s, enjoying a decade of relative popularity on the Japanese music scene before disbanding in early 2002. Outside Japan, Siam Shade is best known as the band who performed "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou", one of the many ending themes of Rurouni Kenshin, a popular anime series. -Wikipedia Any fans here? Flame-X 441 Posted August 19, 2010 Obviously the first song I heard from them is the 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou. I was watching a random ep of Rurouni Kenshin and that song came up as the ED. I was instantly hooked. I tried their other stuff but it didn't click on me. That was like 7-8 years ago. At that time I was still new to Japanese music and rock genre. That could've been the reason why I couldn't get into them. But the real reason was, I listened to the wrong songs. Then a couple months ago, I gave them a 2nd chance listening to all their albums. Wow, I missed out some great music. Now this is what I call hard rock. It's shame they disbanded. It'd be nice they do another reunion concert except this time, showing it on TV or selling it on DVD.
