-NOVA- 3027 Posted June 7, 2020 (edited) Crystal Lake have started crowdfunding in order to make this release possible. In just a few hours the campaign already surpassed its goal. The album will release on August 5th 2020. Crystal Lake's former vocalist Veron will be doing guest vocals. The album will be a compilation of 3 of Crystal Lake's early releases. patientZERO 1066 Posted June 8, 2020 I have Dimension and Into the Great Beyond and they were standard and pretty unremarkable metalcore at the time. If they give their current flare to the older songs, it may be a decent release, but otherwise, I'm not terribly thrilled for this kind of re-recording. Jigsaw9 6783 Posted June 8, 2020 (edited) As someone who really enjoyed the band's early releases but not so much the latter/more recent output, this feels a bit lame to me. No matter what flaws the original recordings might have, things like this usually don't end up being good or necessary (like 8 out of 10 times).
