Spike760 16 Posted August 19, 2010 Far * East Movement Does anyone listen to Far * East Movement? They're a 4 piece Asian hip-hop group from LA. I don't think they've ever been really popular ever, but my girlfriend showed me them last year, I like their one album "Animal" but could never get into the other album "Folk Music", but just recently they released a new single called "Like a G6" and it's the first song (at least that I'm aware of) to get a lot of attention; even heard it on the radio and I never listen to the radio, so I bet they play it a lot! w4s6H4ku6ZY ~ Like a G6 What do you guys think? Spike760 16 Posted September 30, 2010 So today "Like a G6" hit #1 on iTunes and I think #10 on the Billboard Top 100, they're the first Asian American group to break into the top 10 on the billboards apparently! They're on Cherrytree Records, one label with GaGa, Robyn, La Roux, Keane, feist among all. And i realize i am a fan of most of Cherrytree artists lol So i guess this one will have the distinct sound of Cherrytree artists too. And i actually only knew like a g6 and if i was you before i heard the album, so most songs were new for me and i really like the whole album. it goes really smoothly.
