Songs that NEVER get old! (CLASSICS!)

Recommended Posts

As far as Japanese music goes, mine would definitely include…

"Twentyfour Cylinders" and "Toguro" by Dir en grey

"Den lille Havfrue" by 9GOATS BLACK OUT

"Rasen" by Berry (far superior to lynch.'s re-recording)

"Bitter…" by Ami Suzuki

"Haikara Satsubatsu Haiso Zessa" by cali?gari

"Shiroki Yuutsu" and "AGONY" by the GazettE

"patchwork" by girugämesh

?294036224052?by DEATHGAZE

"gaze" by the studs

"Ringing" by -OZ-

"Rakuyou" by meth.

"Hi no Hikari Sae Todokanai Kono Basho De" by ?-MIYAVI- feat. SUGIZO and "ONPU-NO-TEGAMI" by ?-MIYAVI-

"S.I.G" and "Sora" by UnsraW

"LIES" by MEG

"Gentou Sanka" by MUCC

A lot of those are quite recent, but I'm not too familiar with older Japanese music. I can't get into much older music anyway, even American, haha. All of these songs never fail to make me feel good in one way or another. =]

Why did my post get deleted?

I'll just say it once more. I do not get bored of good songs, like never. Good songs never get old. Decent songs does, but not good once.

As far as classics fo I'd say everything from Kagrra and Merry. If we can mention bands from outside the jrock scene and Japan I would also have to say everything Sigh, Bathory (except for Octagon and Destroyer of Worlds), Primordial, first Peste Noire, the four first Solefald albums, two first Pentagram albums + First Daze Here, Sarcofago - Inri, everything by Unholy Grave and so on. There's just too much to mention.

I don't know if I'll still listen to this music (vk, japanese) ten years from now, but I do know that I will never stop listening to anything by Versailles or D (they are just that good).

Necroing~

and
(one of those few "stadium vk" songs I remember very well)

(still gets me even after many years...)

(FURAAII FOREEBA, FURAIII FOREEBA)

(lovely chanson-ish melody)

Dir en grey - JESSICA and

(my first DEG/J-rock songs and dear god, still loving~)

(hands down their most immense song...)

and
(I like stylistic tendencies here plus good ol' soaring choruses from Mucc)

(his solo career might bore me mostly, but 'Aurora' is definitely something what keeps me listening to his debut album...just wow)

(one of those songs that define my "MTV discovery-filled childhood")

(I might not be liking them due to "too DM-y repertoire" - this one is a big, no - HUGE exception though)

L'Arc~en~Ciel - Lies and Truth (my childhood...)

(silly but lovely - even to this day)

Kuroyume - Yasashii Higeki (I might not be listening to them on normal basis, but pop Kuroyume is just everything!)

My brother thinks I'm mad when I show him how many times I've heard certain tracks (which, in my opinion aren't even that much) on iTunes. I know I'll definitely be listening to them for years to come since, to me, they really are classics in my library. A repeat feast on my ipod. xD So here they are in order of how many listens have been counted (only top three):

GACKT - Flower (364 times)

LM.C - 88 (262 times)

Asian Kung Fu Generation - A Town In Blue (173 times)

Others I will listen to almost every day and I believe I will always have to to get through the day are:

Dir En Grey - JESSICA

D'espairsRay - 夜空

vistlip - 音のカケラ

Seconding a lot of picks already mentioned:
BUCK-TICK - "ドレス" (dress)

Alice Nine. - "Velvet"

D'espairsRay - "Garnet"

D'ERLANGER - "La Vie en Rose"

X Japan - "Kurenai" & "Endless Rain"

La'Mule - "Knife"

Dir en grey - "Obscure" & "Cage"

hide - "Pink Spider" & "Rocket Dive",

Some of my own classic picks:

MUCC - "絶望" & "リブラ" (zetsubou & libra)

L'arc~en~Ciel - "Ready, Steady, Go"

the Gazette - "体温" & "千鶴 (taion & chizuru)

Sticking with just vk for this because trying to do the whole of Jrock would be massive and time consuming and out of my knowledge range anyway. lol.
