Doujin melodic metalcore band Thousand Leaves is on hiatus. Lead guitarist Bach has stated that he's "very busy" with his new project Thousand Eyes (which is pretty much the same band + three new members), and he will also have a feature on the upcoming UNDEAD CORPORATION album. Bach has indicated that there are no new Thousand Leaves album on the horizon, and if anything he'll start up a new project instead of reviving an old band. This is the inevitable fate of a band who limit themselves to covering roughly 200 songs four times a year. He also did a solo on the Thousand Excaliver song "Sailing your dream" album (it's KanColle arranges), appears to be another followup to Thousand Leaves (whatever that means). Their site is here.

Aldious announced their first single off the new album will be released in July. Wakusei Abnormal, after a long pause, is set to release a new (yet untitled) mini-album on 22/7/2015. The sample set (3 songs) will be out on 28/5 through NYLON JAPAN magazine webpage, and those samples will be available to preview only for 3 weeks. It's been speculated that their mini-album will carry the title of their upcoming mini-tour, "人生はロマンティック" (Life is Romantic) - and that it will have a distinctive pop sound.
