    Package from v star BLESSCODE photoset + Imperial city. And some chekis. See my feedback here.

    Got my parcel today! Ok I'm so in love with the BLESSCODE photoset in particular... i had assumed they were just normal (L-sized) photos, but amazingly they turned out to be postcard-sized Feedback: Buying from v star was an extremely pleasant experience despite them being a new webshop. The web interface was user-friendly, intuitive, and simple to navigate. Suuu was tremendously helpful and responded promptly to all queries or clarifications. Considering the very busy schedules of the v star staff, I was pleased with how fast my order had been processed, packed and shipped. Packaging-wide i was also thoroughly satisfied. Both the photosets and chekis were packed separately in a plastic wrap, and the CD secured nicely with bubble wrap (not in photo). There were also 2 flyers included, as well as a handwritten thank-you note, which was a really sweet gesture on v star's part Overall, highly recommended! I'd definitely order from them again. Thank you @Suuu
  4. Break the World is on the live-limited edition of アオイヤミ, so it's not on iTunes. as for どこか遠くへ, iTunes had screwed up and was displaying "Hysteric Lady" as "どこか遠くへ" in their store, which led to some confusion among fans who bought the songs. not sure how everything was sorted out eventually, but that probably explains why どこか遠くへ (still) isn't on iTunes. i'll try to ask the band and see if they can do anything about this >_>
  5. all of purple stone songs released so far are available for purchase on iTunes worldwide so i'm pretty certain this will be as well edit: except for live-limited tracks like "Break the World", "Scar", "sakura" etc.
  6. They were featured in yahoo news last night Did a quick translation~ --- As a band that has been steadily improving on their Oricon rankings and sales with each release, and gathering tremendous momentum within the visual kei scene, Purple Stone has revealed their latest look and announced a new single release. With their previous single "Kabukicho Butterfly" ranking at #2 on the Oricon indies charts etc., Purple Stone has gathered significant attention in recent times in the visual kei indies scene. At exactly 10pm on 5/29, the pixellated version of their new look featured on their official HP was replaced by the band's newly disclosed look. The theme for this look is "Summer Halloween," presenting the 3 members of the band in their new silver/black costumes under the moonlit night. At the same time, Purple Stone has announced that their much anticipated new single "Panic panic" will be released on 8/17 (Wed). While the new song(s) [*it's somewhat vague as to whether this refers to the title track only or all the tracks] will foreground EDM elements, the rich rock sound and melodic style of Purple Stone will be incorporated to produce a wonderful fusion that surprises even those who aren't their fans. The cover arts for the new single feature watermelon versions of "jack o' lanterns," reinforcing the "Summer Halloween" theme. This summer Purple Stone will step up and ignite the visual kei scene, and with it the Japanese music scene, with their "summer halloween." Source: http://zasshi.news.yahoo.co.jp/article?a=20160529-00000027-the_tv-ent --- Purple Stone's setlist from yesterday's live (keiya's birthday live)" Opening SE ~Neuro Drive~ 1. 甘酸っぱいマンゴー (Amazuppai mango) 2. 歌舞伎町バタフライ (Kabukichou butterfly) MC 3. 7. one question though.... can someone tell me wtf gak is wearing below his knees??
  8. yeah lol, that's a lot of types. but... at least 1000 yen per cd is reasonable (i guess?) i love their new look as well! it's different from their usual (more subdued) colors, and i wonder if the sound will be different too

    selfie of fuma's new look from today's live he said "i felt like i became hatsune miku" XD

    ^ definitely 静脈 for me too! i remember hearing this song live before its release and i was blown away. i really should revisit pura's discography soon... i dunno if i was supposed to shuffle my entire library or just 1 playlist. but i did the former anyway and got a really weird assortment of tracks o.o 1. Renny Lily - MARIAの涙 2. XIBALBA - LOST IRIS 3. -真天地開闢集団-ジグザグ - 彼ノ夢、幻。 4. 崎元仁 - 迫る脅威 5. LOVE JUNKIE - NO... 6. 霧澤タクト (CV.宮野真守) & 無月ヒジリ (CV.KENN) - STARDUST LOVERS 7. Maria Callas - Norma: "Casta Diva" (Bellini) 8. 松下優也 - Bird 9. 小宇 - 過渡期 10. Sergei Rachmaninoff - Vocalise, Op. 34 No. 14 (Anna Moffo, cond. Leopold Stokowski, American Symphonic Orchestra) the vk bands that popped up i don't even listen to that much. if i had to select a vk song it will probably be the zigzag one. otherwise i'm going for moffo's 'vocalise' - it's one of the most beautiful renditions of rachmaninoff's masterpiece.

    when you find yourself constantly thinking about day-to-day expenses in terms of "single" and "album" as your preferred units of currency, you know you're fucked.
  17. can someone verify this? if it's true, congrats on having thought of one of the most ridiculous ways of distributing your band's music. i'm not inclined to pay 2,500 yen for a few photos and a ticket that i can't exchange for (probably low quality) music. although, from the description on most vk shops selling this, i get the impression that the "sound book" has a QR code to a site from which we can download the 9 songs directly.
  18. ^ would be even better if they get the audience to give them a name

    thanks for this thread! i was trying to find something to rip my vistlip dvds too. they seem to be the only(?) band's dvds i can't rip using dvd decrypter i wonder if it's possible to use handbrake to rip to a lossless format though o.o

    @colorfuljinsei made me listen to this once a few days ago and i've listened to it more than 300 times since:
  21. ooo sakui's new band. will follow

    i mainly go for casual stuff/street fashion that leans towards kireime/onii-kei and some brands i like: semantic design, agate label, spinash, seana, dodge, bernings sho, etc. also the 109mens brands, obviously, but they're generally too expensive at full retail price. civarize and xfrm continue to put out stunning jeans on a regular basis (however i hate xfrm's biker-style t-shirts). fuga and vanquish still have good jackets in recent collections although as far as i'm concerned their heydays are long over and they are now reduced to doing dubious collaborations. vice fairy is also halfway down that route as well. wrouge makes quality cardigans, and for shoes/boots: lovehunter, boredom, endevice are all very good brands. accessories wise, i'm a lot more open. i actually have a chrome hearts pendant that a good friend (who's a host) gave me as a gift - but sadly high-end stuff like that are beyond what i can usually afford ;_;

    called up the organizer for a conference i'm attending in kyoto next month: "i'm sorry but is it possible for you to bring my session forward to an earlier slot?" "we will try. is there a reason for this change?" "umm, for personal reasons" [this is an excuse that apparently only works in japan] (*actual reason: BECAUSE I NEED TO CATCH A PURPLE STONE LIVE IN OSAKA DAMMIT.)
  24. i've been waiting so long for juri to be back it's not even funny. while veryyy excited i'm also kinda peeved that we probably won't be seeing another band with Leda + Juri teaming up again >_> would definitely prefer a band name that makes more sense too, but i'm in love with their casual look! here's hoping they will be better than FED
