but it actually had. i'm not saying that ratings were really low, but manga ratings were in between of average and below average from what i've seen. also in anime they were always bitching about shitty ratings. i remember when first season was airing there was a lot of debates about "oh wow we've managed to survive another year omg it's unbelievable" and at beginning of every new season Gintoki and Co. used to brag about having a new season of Gintama despite low ratings and shit. and i'm not sure where it was more popular - here or there, but in their long-running term they never were as popular as narubleapiece. it's definitely not for everyone and you have to be fucked in the head somуehow to like Gintama

pachinko arc is probably the least interesting one in kaiji. my biggest disappointment there is him fighting a machine, not real people. well, yeah, it was rigged and they could control it but it's not the same when he fights those gambling fuckers who cheat their ways out by all means possible (even impossible sometimes lol) i still love it nonetheless xD kaiji is a fucking masterpiece for me and i highly recommend you to read 3rd season, Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji. some crazy shit's going on there!

watched Arrested Development but i can't say this was a superb comedy show. i liked it, though. some jokes were quite unique and funny, and characters weren't annoying as it often happens with comedy series. but the last season was pretty bad tbh. and i'm aware of ...Philadelphia but that show has so many seasons and it's still airing. maybe some other time, haha. lol yeah, SoA if so fucking brutal with all the gory details, that often i felt natural disgust to what i've seen. also don't get why did they haven't include appropriate language. and damn, why the fuck did you mentioned that lack of swearing? when i was clueless about it i could enjoy it much more, but now it also bothers me! and there are still like 5 seasons of The Shield, thanks a lot! i might try that Master of None and Danger 5. both look pretty promising. i'm aware of Ash vs Evil Dead, watched 1st season, but that kind of humor isn't really my cup of tea...

yeah, somehow i assumed it was HBO's but after i wrote that post i was reading wiki and saw that it's FX's. and now that you mentioned it, indeed, language has lack of good swearing. though, that doesn't bothers me at all. that's what i assumed when i decided to start Brooklyn 9-9, but somehow jokes and humor there are so dull and not funny, that i couldn't help but drop it. Andy Samberg is a really bad actor imo (although i like some of Lonely Island music videos). and honestly i haven't watched a good comedy series in ages. there's nothing that look promising among ongoing series. maybe i should explore some oldies, like Seinfield.

so Gintama's new (and unfortunately last) season will start airing on January. really sad about it tbh. i honestly wouldn't mind if this anime/manga would air endlessly. but all good things come to an end so it can't be helped. it had a good run despite quite low ratings(both manga and anime's). i guess it's about time to start rewatching Gintama from the very beginning.

in the middle of 7 (and last) season of Sons of Anarchy and have to admit - this show's pretty good. there are some ups and downs, but if you disregard mediocre acting and awful music, you will most likely enjoy it too. the amount of people who were killed there might actually compete with GoT and some plot twists were also pretty insane. dropped Brooklyn Nine-Nine after 1st season. crappy show, crappy actors, crappy humor. 'nuff said. also watched first season of The Shield. good stuff! quite interesting plot and characters. looking forward to other seasons. thinking about trying out The Prisoner (the old one). hopefully it'll deliver me some suspense.

i've given it a try but it didn't sound as great as self-titled. it'll grow on me with couple more listens, that's for sure, but prolly won't be able to surpass their first album.

finished One Outs recently, that was one hell of a manga! tried to read it as long as i could to prolong the pleasure, but gave up after 130th chapter and finished everything in one go. definitely one of the greatest manga of all times! also finished Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji in one week. that was as much as i could prolong reading this awesomeness. at first i wasn't sure i would enjoy it as much as i want, since 2nd part was kinda worse than 1st one, especially pachinko's arc(Kaiji is the best when he plays against real people, after all). also i didn't know much about mahjong and all its rules. well, luckily there was one bonus chapter that described everything that was needed to be known about mahjong just enough to enjoy this manga. Kaiji is undoubtedly Nobuyuki Fukumoto's best work and one of my favorite manga. can't wait to read Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji: Kazuya hen and Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji: One Poker hen. shit's gonna get real there for sure! but at first i'm gonna read some less interesting manga just to mix superb and good stuff. like Vagabond. some years ago i read 300 chapters, but now it seems to be complete and i can finally finish it.

i tried a demo version of this game but it turned out to be so unbearably awful, that i had to delete it after half an hour sufferplaying. though, the only pokemon game i played, besides of Pokemon Go, was Pokemon Red. and i remember enjoying it a few years ago. but this... well... just ew. modern pokemon games are definitely not my cup of tea.

finished Six Feet Under and even though pretty much every character there was annoying and despicable, the show overall was rather enjoyable than not, with many good moments. especially the ending! what an awesome closure, i totally loved it! also finished Damages. was thinking to drop it after 3rd season, which was pretty dull, but decided to finish since i have some free time anyway. what i can say for sure is i really hate their fucked up timelime, when in one episode they tell "1 month earlier" and in the next it's already "2 weeks earlier" while the events take place the same or the following day. and it's now hard to tell which one (Damages or How to Get Away with Murder) i like more. prolly will be able to tell for sure after i watch 3rd season of HTGAWM. if they'll manage to keep it as much interesting as the previous 2(which i doubt somehow), kudos will go to them. started Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Sons of Anarchy. so far i haven't noticed nothing really special about these shows, but at the same i don't hate them. for the time being they are alright to watch. and just want to say that Westworld is getting better and better with each episode. everybody should watch it. best new series of 2016 for sure!

watching now: Six Feet Under (s03e11) welp, it's HBO and stuff, but somehow i cannot feel this show. there are no characters to whom i can sympathize or relate to. it's good overall, but just that, nothing special. Carnivale (s02e09) also HBO, and this one is more interesting for me than the previous show. it pretty dark and atmospheric stuff. there was suppose to be 6 seasons of it but the show has been closed after 2nd and i can see why. the pace was slow, especially in the 1st season. and such show is not for everyone, that's for sure. Damages (s01e07) lol now i see which show How to Get Away with Murder shamelessly ripped off! even some characters were copypasted from there. anyway, Damages seems to be much better and more mature from what i've seen so far (those sex scenes in HTGAWM were so out of place and were pretty much a fan-service fillers, ugh). also finished 3rd season of The Fall. even though, there was less suspense than in previous seasons, it still delivered. also Gillian Anderson <3

finished Shigatsu... (which was truly amazing from beginning till the end <3 ) and started Mob Psycho 100. so far Mob was really great. love the style! too bad there's only 12 episodes, when it seems like manga has quite a lot chapters. aaaand still catching up with Jojo :v
