IN SITU-TABULA RASA provided a lot of footage of some damn amazing performances. So all y'all bitching over another release can suck it... this will be awesome. (PS I don't watch these for the yawn-inducing back stage stuff, so I'm with you there...)

UNBELIEVABLE set lists. Seriously. Jesus Christ R'n R, 24ko, Red [em], Jessica, ITOSHISA FUCKING A, etc etc etc... Man, these NEED to be on a DVD.

Well to be fair, any hype was pretty much generated from us here on the forums and elsewhere. The band didn't really promise anything to begin with. I'm kinda relieved, as I can now focus and build excitement for Dir en grey's new single.

Easily the best performance of LOTUS. Not only is Kyo spot on, but the instrumentals add such a nice layer of depth to the song.

It's interesting. I don't think it's terrible, but artwork isn't something I normally pay too much attention to. Give us a sample to shut everyone up.

I'm really hoping that intro track makes it into the next album. Sounds amazing.

Band is looking great (kinda cool seeing the visual flair during this tour and overseas) and sounding just as good. Should be a damn fine tour, regardless if they vary the sets or not.

Reiketsu Nariseba was played. The blossoming beezlebub I think? And Karasu as mentioned.

In other words, no surprises..

All this album did is make me go listen to this iz japanese kabuki rock again and realize how good and catchy he used to be. Not impressed...

LOL Just an old, once frequent member who decided to return...

I'm not sure... the song is the best representation on the EP of taking an old song and restructuring it to meet their current style, while maintaining a lot of the original identity.

I made a new account just a couple days ago with DaInReU777, but thought of how sick I was with that name, so I made this one... lol

Well, After dropping out of the whole Japanese music scene (at least current music scene) for a couple years, I have returned to see what has been going on around here. I used to be an extremely frequent vistor here (old name: DaInReU). 5 years ago, my music library used to be about 50% Japanese, 50% other... just a few short days ago the only Japanese music I had on my itunes was the disco of DIR EN GREY, which I never get tired of. It started on youtube... I started looking up all my old favorite songs and a certain nostalgia factor came flooding back. I began downloading and downloading, reestablishing my old libraries. Suffice to say, I've missed this, I really have. I have changed a lot in the last 4-5 years; I've grown. I'm now 23, still in college, in a loving relationship and trying to figure out what I'm passionate about. All I know is that my love for this music has been rekindled, something made me come back... and I thank everyone here personally for still being around, still maintaining and providing this wonderful music. I'm glad to be back. - Dane
