Awesome! Looking forward to any new music. Out of all of Kiyoharu's ongoing or newly revived projects/bands, sads is still the best one imo.
  2. Dunno why it took me so long but I'm finally listening to ラッコ's mini album and it is glorioussss. Brings back those old KuRt vibes where you never knew what's coming up in a song, haha. Love the variety.

Check out the single I think it's terrific

I listened to it in the meantime, it really is!

      agreeeed!

  3. While not over-the-top in-your-face scary, this video has always been super eerie for me. Must be that haunting Lynchian vibe that's going on (worth watching till the very end), coupled with the lighter tones of the music.

According to their Twitter, the band will live-stream their 2017/04/13 gig on Periscope, even though it'll probably be in low-quality, lol.
  5. Jigsaw9

hoping this will be the new Kyo aesthetic

From midnight today in Japan time (so in a few hours) the song "汚れた夜" (Yogoreta yoru) will be available to download for ¥251 on iTunes, Recochoku and mora. It is a different arrangement than what will be on the forthcoming album btw.

Slowly making my way through a Hungarian edition of Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du mal. #2edgy4me #zetsuboufeels Also somewhat slowly savouring the wonderfully weird The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. Finished the first volume out of the three, so I'm taking a bit of a rest because it's quite a tiring read, haha. Packed with all sorts of conspiracies, all presented in a twisted post-modern style. Can't say it's not entertaining though.

For real tho, I guess it must be hard to 'play it safe' when your only outlet for getting with chicks is a fanbase that literally consists of 90% underage gals, lol. That said, screw this guy. I'm guessing the band won't be hurt too bad if they lose him. As I can see they'll still have one guitarist left who can safely play those two chords under the screechy synths just fine by himself. ;<
  9. A friend just recommended me this, wow pretty nice stuff! If their other songs are kinda similar, I'm on board.
  10. Jigsaw9

From what I gather, he did some hanky-panky with a high-school (i.e. underage) girl basically.

Something cool/interesting: I just saw the album will be up on Google Play, featuring some extra tracks. Well, the bonus stuff is just from their previous singles but it's a good way to buy everything all at once I guess. (the singles are pretty cheap there separately too btw) https://play.google.com/store/music/album/glamscure_shadowscapes?id=Bq46yuw4jiacpvwtzapahdpov7u

One of the first live DVDs I've ever owned was Alice Cooper: Brutally Live. Great memories. Also, my knowledge of his output is kinda all-over-the-place: I really dig the old stuff cca. 1969-1973 and then I listened to Trash, Hey Stoopid and Brutal Planet, and that's it basically, lol. Great entertainer through and through tho.
  13. I figured it's pointless to make a new topic: the band will release a live/documentary DVD titled "CAT FOOD" on 2017/05/31. Tracklist and further details can be found here: http://www.sexystones.com/2017/04/06/meteo-tour-2017-live-document-movie『cat-food』発売決定!/

    2nd track sounds glorious. #datbass
  15. Jigsaw9

Sounds kinda generic, a.k.a. what I expected. Not bad tho. Also all aboard the Succ bus™
  16. Jigsaw9

Of all places to play these two (tour theme-wise), this I didn't expect. Also yay for TMOAB! Brings back memories of when I first saw them live. Agreed, great music for a live setting.

Holy shit, I just realized the last time I listened to these guys was back in 2014 when their previous album came out, haha. Anyway, I gave the new record a spin. It's pretty good! I'm tempted to go to their gig in June.
  18. Jigsaw9

LOL, I just noticed something. Both in the video description and the official site there is now a totally new tracklist for the album. The site even mentions that they're sorry that they gave out incorrect information (small April Fool's maybe?). Anyway, here is what seems to be the final (?) tracklist of the album: 01. 0’13″ Ⅰ 02. ゼロサムゲーム (Zero Sum Game) 03. トカゲのロミオ (Tokage no Romeo) 04. 汚れた夜 (Yogoreta yoru) 05. トイレでGO! (Toilet de GO!) 06. (Shinya, kamotsu Yard ura no futou kara Kombinat wo nagameteita)

    ooo...kkayyy. xD
  20. Oh right, I managed to finally listen to that Venenum album yesterday. Good stuff indeed!
  21. The milking won't stop but HELL YEAHHHH new sukekiyo~
  22. My favorite local deathrock / dark-punk weirdos just put up a sweet 'studio live' vid with two new songs~
  23. Jigsaw9

Glad to see you enjoyed it. Love love love Black Mirror myself too, all throughout. In other exciting news: Rick & Morty is backkk!!
  24. Jigsaw9

I just watched this yesterday. Fun stuff! Thx for bringing it to my attention.

This pretty much sums up everything about post-reunion X Japan for me. Everything they've released ever since they came back sounds so lifeless and tired. SUGIZO pls save urself
