As much as I enjoy their lighter songs, this one's snoozeville for me. The guitar solo's kinda fun tho. (edit: lol, joke's on me, this isn't even a new song)

to the grand total of 3 people who are interested, lol Church of Misery's official Facebook page has just announced the latest lineup of the band. As you may know, CoM has been pretty much a revolving door of musicians with bassist Tatsu Mikami being the center/main songwriter/head honcho. This time the group is back with an all-Japanese roster, as follows: From left to right: Tatsu Mikami - bass Hiroyuki Takanosith - vocals Junichi Yamamura - drums Yasuto Muraki - guitar The only member I could dig up previous band info of is Hiroyuki Takano who is also a guitarist/vocalist in "sludgecore" band Sithter.

Okay, upon further listens it's an okay song. I'm just always expecting something with a bit of a 'bite' in it from these guys, but the last few albums were all very similar to this particular song (i.e. very upbeat melodic pop vk). Still, I can dig them I guess, especially after multiple listens. edit: btw the band's "REUNION 10th ANNIVERSARY -薔薇色の激情-" kickoff live just happened on 04/22 at Toyosu PIT. Here's the setlist: SE. Kain 01. dummy blue 02. SADISTIC EMOTION 03. 柘榴 (Zakuro) 04. So… 05. Angelic Poetry 06. Singe et Insecte 07. DARLIN' 08. BABY 09. LULLABY 10. Dance naked, Under the moonlight. 11. LOVE/HATE 12. an aphrodisiac 13. Skelton Queen 14. Loveanymore 15. LA VIE EN ROSE ENCORE EN1. CRAZY4YOU EN2. バライロノセカイ-Le monde de la rose- (Barairo no sekai)

  5. Okay, this is pretty wild: https://neoandertals.bandcamp.com/album/ebu-gogo-gutting-the-child A bassist/vocalist and a drummer, making weird primitive caveman death metal. The more I listen to it, the wider my smile gets.

Haha, fun video but damn that song is atrocious as hell. At least it's short tho. Still, looking forward to the album.

^ I did, tho only once. It was okay. On first listen I liked "To Pimp a Butterfly" better, but this is cool too.

When you're hanging out with @Disposable at a Drab Majesty/King Dude show and someone gets punched in the face, everything is covered in #aesthetic #smoke, and you randomly meet @saltofstones afterwards. LEGENDARY.

Gotta say, Parks & Rec is one of those shows that actually gets better as the seasons progress. Great stuff.

VANIRU's guitarist Yuto will be leaving the band, thus making Leoneil (vocalist) the sole member of the project. He will continue VANIRU alone. From their official Facebook:
  12. ZIZ will release their new mini album titled "テヅルモヅルNo.5" (Tedzurumodzuru No.5) on 2017/05/26 (¥2,000). Tracklist and cover art: 1. 電磁男達 (Denji otokotachi) 2. 瑪瑙ピエロ (Menou Pierrot) 3. 徴 (Shirushi) 4. シルクと鉄屑 (Silk to tetsukuzu) 5. クリスピーキッス (Crispy Kiss)

^ Actually, it seems like it's gonna be a hexagram, haha. Also, by the looks of it I'm assuming there will be more than 3 DVDs coming. I'm thinking 4 or 5. Otherwise the circular shape would be pretty fucked up, lol.

^ Hey, The Da Vinci Code is pretty good imo! (then again, I read it ages ago) Right now I'm reading the Hungarian translation of The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket by Edgar Allan Poe, his only novel apparently. I'm still not halfway through, but it's pretty entertaining so far. Seems to be a sort of sea-faring adventure story, hoping it'll have some spooky bits later (seeing as how Lovecraft references an element of this story in one of his most iconic writings iirc). Also, I'm still on dat Baudelaire and the Illuminati bros, just letting them (or, rather, me) breathe a bit for now. I can only take a few poems at a time (gotta savor them properly!), while the latter's first volume was quite an exhausting read, so I'm gearing up to begin part two soon. xD
  19. I'm always down for new DEZERT, bring it on.

^ Yeah, I remember googling that "more of fire than blood" line too, but haven't shown much outside of Anaal Nathrakh, haha. Would be cool if they were jammin' out to some Nathrakh. Also, I've been living under a rock and just noticed this: deadman - intro for the "no alternative" album: Nirvana - drum intro for song "Scentless Apprentice": Seeing as how aie's style is hugely influenced by grunge as a whole, I wouldn't be surprised if they consciously made this little homage to Kurt & co.
