This is the single greatest piece of news this year in VK.
-
this this this But also I kinda like all their albums, except for Wtd.

Been a while since I showed my ugly visage around here. Just got back from an awesome gig, and got this new beanie, it's so comfy & warm <3
-
Looking forward to it! Their album was kinda enjoyable. dat next-level nipPUN game tho
-
Btw the band is uploading band member interviews about a new song called "Hold You Down" these days, which will eventually culminate in them posting its music video soon (if I understood it correctly as written here).
-
^ Oh wow, this takes me back! I kinda listened to them for a good two weeks back in the day, still, some quality stuff there.
-
Haha, props for them trolling. In any case, I hope they manage to get their shit together, even if they won't release as much as in their first year. If it continues to be quality stuff, I'm completely okay with only getting a handful of songs a year (but pls make it a mini-album next time xD).

If only!!

That cover art is somehow totally giving me old-school vibes. Doubt that the actual sound will be anyting like that tho, haha. Still, consider my interest piqued.
-
Oh look, it's that room where every 5th band does their photoshoots!
-
-
Indeed it's giving me straight-up MALICE MIZER vibes too. I hope the teaser music will actually turn out to be part of one of the songs.

Thanks for mentioning this. I love Aubrey Plaza and I wanted to watch some random movie, so this was perfect. Good stuff.
-
wuuuuuuuuuut that's awesome!

Radius - Not sure if this qualifies as horror but it certainly has a good dose of the sinister and unexplainable. All in all, it's not much but the whole movie plays out so well that I couldn't help loving it. What begins as a mystery that you think you figured out after 5 mins keeps giving you twist after twist, all with very good even pacing. Lots of excitement and 'oh damnnn' moments. It would be a sin to tell anything about the actual plot, so I'll only leave you with: if you like mysterious thriller/horror flicks go give this a chance.

Nice.

Finally watched Cult of Chucky. All in all great fun! There were some serious literal LOL moments and of course lots of over-the-top ones. It was great to see some cameos and the ending makes me wanna see what they'll have in store for us next. The only thing I can kinda criticize is that most of the main location looked way too artificial (I mean I get it, it's in a mental hospital but why does everything have to look like a minimalistic futuristic photoshoot set?). But anyway, really cheesy fun stuff.

Still here for ggg, sukekiyo and DEZERT. When Kishidan came on I was like "hey why do they get to perform one of their own songs? oh wait." XD
-
Dammit, I love this band.
-
Loved the new season of Stranger Things too. <3

To be honest, I'm not expecting anything mindblowingly different from the last two albums. They're pretty much old men by J-rock standards with a miriad of different albums behind them, so I feel like they're in a position where they just do whatever they want without straining themselves too much creatively. Sometimes it produces kinda 'meh' results ("Yumemiru uchuu" album imo), sometimes pretty great ("Arui wa Anarchy" album imo). We'll see.

I'm not sure I ever finished Darkplace, but omg DANGER 5 IS THE BEST THING EVERRRRR
-
I'm only finished with ep3 but damnnnn I feel this is when shit's gonna get real, haha. Lovin' it so far btw. Also began watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, pretty nice so far (never watched any Star Trek stuff, only some random eps of Voyager and maybe like two movies from the '90s-'00s).

Cool thread idea! The only thing that comes to mind (besides some that you already mentioned) is the almost-released last MALICE MIZER album which would have been their first full-length release with Klaha officially as a full-time member, as opposed to 薔薇の聖堂 where he was only credited as one of the guest vocalists. If memory serves me correctly there might have even been a tentative tracklist for the album that made its way to CDJapan's site but then got quickly pulled and the band went on eternal hiatus and that was the end of that I guess. Would have been interesting to see/hear what they could have done on a full album in the style of Gardenia, Beast of Blood, etc.

Awesome, BRING IT ONNN
