Currently reading: - Compendium Maleficarum by Francesco Maria Guazzo: basically a witch-hunter's manual from 17th century Italy. Interesting stuff. - In Cold Blood by Truman Capote: somehow I only got around to reading this now. Took a bit to pull me in, but now I'm hooked. Plus some random quirky book by a Hungarian author who likes wordplay and weird language, so it's not much point mentioning it rly, lol.

Finally watched Mindhunter too, top notch! Excellent cast, direction, visuals and pacing. I know it's nothing new but I'm constantly amazed by the high quality of TV series being released these days in general. Can't wait for season 2! Catching up on season 3 of Rick and Morty too, as brilliant as ever. Holy shit, the whole episode inside the Citadel of Ricks! Also can't wait to gobble up the new Black Mirror season... only a bit more than 2 weeks to go!!

Recently rewatched Shadow of the Vampire, such a great movie! I love the whole concept and vibe, not to mention the excellent cast. Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich are amazing in this. Also I totally didn't remember Eddie Izzard having such a big part in this film, haha. Great stuff. I tried watching the 2017 space-horror Life too, but gave up about half an hour before its end. Shame cuz I usually eat up anything that's a mixture of sci-fi and horror, but I couldn't deal with this one anymore. The creature design and the sets were good tho.

This, for me too. I mean I see it's LUNA SEA playing but other than that and Ryuichi's voice and SUGIZO's horribly phoned-in not-even-trying guitar "solos" it's pretty much like a glass of tap water left out on the kitchen counter for too long. It's also a bit baffling how they decided this would be the first track on the album, lol. Certainly doesn't set a mood to make me wanna dive in to the rest of the album, but that's just me. I hope the album will have some cool moments.

Just wanted to post this here. I rarely watch whole live DVDs or recorded concerts anymore, just randomly browsing songs on YT, so I haven't seen this one before either. But DAMN, do these guys go hard here. One of the most energetic and fun performances of ROSIER ever imo, watching it now for like the 4th time.
