Those who are adventurous enough might have already heard the radio rip (courtesy of some good ppl over at vkontakte), but here's the PV spot: ASS CAPE~ ♪

Yeah I was getting a High End of Low vibe too kinda (too bad that's one of my least fave MM albums xD). Musically it's not bad, but the whole atmosphere and the repetitive lyrics are not what I was hoping for.
-
Interesting TMOAB vibes with a visual twist.

LMAO, same. Well I'm not too hot on the song itself either but I guess it's not bad...? I'm missing some things to latch onto tho, like memorable lyrics or hooks. It's just kinda...there. Anyway, I'm still really really excited for the new album dropping on Sept.11, as it's always interesting to listen to new Manson no matter what (to me at least). Great cover art painting too.

So uhhhhh I watched an '80s Taiwanese martial arts flick called Drunken Dragon (apparently a.k.a. Exciting Dragon, lol) and it sure was something. Probably one of the fastest-pace, craziest and goofiest things I've seen... Especially the first half is just punch after punch of non-stop ridiculousness. Not sure what the writers were smoking when they conjured all this up, but I approve! Already eyeing another movie by the same director, Child of Peach, lmao.

Awww hell yeah, looking forward to The Sexy Time Album: Extended Edition ~By Night~ Part 2: Electric Bluegaloo! Also oof, that T-shirt is brilliant.
-
Ooooh 2 songs and 2 cross-cover versions, nice! (For some reason I originally thought it was gonna be one collab track.)
-
The album's mastering is now ready, YEAHHH BAYBEEEE~

Started reading the Southern Reach trilogy from Jeff VanderMeer not long ago: already finished Annihilation and now I'm in the middle of the 2nd book, Authority. So far so good, I enjoy the mystery and the surreal nature of what's happening. Although I wonder how long it can keep up the suspense while not much concrete is being revealed (or maybe that's the point? :^)). We'll see...
-
Oooooh these samples are giving me those long-missed Grieva vibes~
-
Not too impressed by what I heard so far, although the opening riff was pretty bangin' in itself. Will look forward to the complete version for the final verdict I guess.

For real, I'm struggling to remember a time when these guys were active, lmao. Maybe once during a few-month period (?).
-
Cool tunes and visuals, I'm in~
-
He's killin' it in that FOREVER & EVER vid, A++++ I hope they'll make the live Kuroyume and BUCK-TICK covers available too.
-
Hi there, welcome (back)! Metronome, P-Model, Uchoten, Kyokutou Girlfriend, Ippu-Do, Speecies - nice!!
-
Whoah, did you guys catch today's livestream? If I'm not mistaken, they played 5 new/unreleased songs plus a super old one (Yureru kage). I don't even think I've heard the starting song on other streams, and I probably liked that one the most too... very The Cure-y.

Watched a bunch of stuff lately: Relic: This was a pretty atmospheric movie, and very creepy at times. I liked how it could keep the tension and dread at all times without resorting to cheap jump scares. The ending went into a bit of "too far-out" territory, but looking back at it now I don't even mind it that much. Overall the film managed to suck me in to its eerie world. Brahms: The Boy 2: I enjoyed The Boy, but this sequel was just plain bad. They tried so hard to somehow explain why this story even exists, and it fell completely flat on its face. After a couple of drinks me and my buds could at least laugh at it, so there's that. Shoutout to Ralph Ineson (The VVitch), he was at least a welcome highlight in this sea of crap. Quicksilver Highway: Quirky '90s horror (sometimes crossing over to dark comedy) anthology-like flick based on one story each from Clive Barker and Stephen King, framed by a sort of meta-narrative. Barker's segment was funny, while King's one was very "King-like". Not bad all in all, it was entertaining to watch once. The wonderful Christopher Llyod stole the show easily, even though he was only present as a sort of narrative framing character. edit: oh and I saw the new Netflix Ju-on mini-series adaptation, but couldn't really concentrate cuz me and my friends were drinking and joking around... so will definitely re-watch that one, haha. At first glance it seemed very good and a bit different from the usual Ju-on tropes tho (and also quite unexpectedly "heavy"/depressing).

Great news, I'll be sure to check the album out when it drops!
-
That's one hell of an overspilling box, naisu.
-
I'm having mixed feelings about this... sooo it's basically 2 new songs (?), 3 reworked lynch tracks and 6 covers, huh. And judging by the video and most of the cover choices this will probably be a slow balladish affair. He has a voice that I like but otherwise this screams snoozeville for me so far. I'll definitely check out the BUCK-TICK, LUNA SEA and Kuroyume covers tho!
