Annihilation - I kept my expectations low, lest they fuck this up, but it was quite an enjoyable movie in the end! Great visuals and atmosphere, very beautiful and eerie at the same time. Towards the end you could see where it was going, but overall I liked it. Watching this made me wanna check out the novel trilogy too, especially since I heard they changed quite a bit of the material from the first book (so at least I'll have lots of new ground to explore). If you like slow contemplative weird sci-fi go check this out, it's worth at least one watch.

This top 2 was a bit mind-boggling for me, i.e. wtf was Kennedy doing there. From this pair I'm glad that Trixie won. That being said, and bearing in mind that I stan Trixie to the moon and back, I don't think she really deserved the top spot based on her overall performance throughout the season. My ideal top 2 would have been Trixie and Shangela, with Shangela winning. Ofc I'm happy for Trixie, but this whole All Stars 3 was kinda mehhh... the finale episode seemed rushed and without much ceremony too. Can't wait to see what trainwreck of a season S10 will be~ :^)

Hurricane Bianca - Finally watched this, it was great fun. Really campy and dumb movie, but in a sort of good way (think of it as a more PG-version John Waters affair), with Bianca totally basking in the spotlight. Loved the random other drag queen cameos too. Overall, light-hearted and entertaining stuff.

I like this a bit better than the other two! Gives me a bit more hope for the album... In other news, I'm finally sitting down to properly (and loudly) listen to the new Carpenter Brut album and it is aaaaawesomeeee!! Can't wait to see him/them live on Wednesday and dance my ass off. Youth Code will be supporting them which is a bit of a weird pairing imo, but I'm not complaining cuz I frickin' love Youth Code, haha.

Cover art has been revealed, with Ao's glorious face (so hopefully this means he gets to keep the mic to himself on these songs :D).

This sounds like it would be up my alley, thx for mentioning it! Forgotten - Watched this Korean mystery/thriller completely on a whim as Netflix brought it up after finishing another movie, and I was not disappointed. It's a pretty wild and suspenseful ride with some unexpected twists and turns... some of these are kinda over-the-top and "oh come onnn"-ish but I can't say I wasn't entertained all the way through. Even though I kinda knew where it was all going, it still managed to keep me on the edge of my seat at times. Nice one.

Veronica - Once I heard one of the directors of [REC] was at the helm of this movie, I had to check it out. It was a decent haunting/possession kind of horror flick, nothing extraordinary but overall it did the job. I don't think I'll rewatch it, it's not that memorable, but it was okay to see once. It had its share of spooky and tense moments. Shoutout to the cool soundtrack (a mix of creepy synths and nostalgic poppy post-punk vibes).

I'm not much of a fashionista or anything but damn, BeBe looked hideous from the neck down, haha. So yeahh...........

Pretty much this. Not sure which one I dislike more at the moment, AS1 or AS3 but it's hard to beat the awkward mess that was AS1.

New GosT sounds kinda embarrassing and cringey and even somehow boring to me... might skip this 'era' altogether. I haven't listened to the new Carpenter Brut yet, just some snippets, but those sounded good! Can't wait to catch him/them live in a few weeks! <3
