I'm not really a drama-watching person but I watched these so far: - Kisarazu Cat's Eye (all the series, movies, etc) - Tiger & Dragon - Gal Circle ...as you can see I like the more wacky stuff. KCE has to be my top favorite out of these.

Wow, nice line-up there! I've been waiting for Hina to return to formal band activities, hopefully this one will last. xD

I'm guessing it will be like with most of their releases: maybe one regular edition with less songs, and the full thing that's webshop-only, or something? Anyway, looking forward to it! (even if their last album didn't leave much of an impression)

LOL, Kiyoharu the workaholic as ever. Here's hoping that SADS will maintain their quality, and that the new Kuroyume album won't be as lukewarm as the previous one.

"Don't Give Up!" short version and album digest:
  16. Of course I first heard Japanese music by watching anime in my early teens, but my first conscious endevour to listen/find music came in summer 2004. Actually, I was searching for something else on Google and mistakenly clicked on another link - that brought me to the 'visual kei' section of a Hungarian news/social site for goth/dark/industrial people. Naturally, I was curious, so I snatched all the PVs they had on the first page and then began my descent into the sweet sweet abyss of vk. These were some of the first stuff I watched there: Atsushi Sakurai - Sacrifice Noir Fleurir - Giniro no basha Dué le quartz - Rodeo Baiser - Prism Malice Mizer - Beast of Blood Kagerou - XII Dizzy

^ Heh, don't worry, I pretty much enjoyed their stuff too (though I understand the general consensus here is the opposite, lol). Too bad I only started listening to them towards the end of their career. xD

Yeah, it really has his mark, so to speak! I'm still debating whether or not to buy it, and when... somehow I'm not too keen on paying postal costs almost twice the price of the actual CD, lol.

Here's mine https://soundcloud.com/jigsawjohnny I'll try to post new stuff soon, working on a new song right now. Followed you btw!

Click here for samples from the ZIZ × KEN.MORIOKA collaboration CD! Also, the CD can be ordered from Amazon, as soon as it'll be in stock I guess (like last time).

So let's see how the "gotta go fast" factory called MEJIBRAY fared this time around with their new single, DIE KUSSE! The CD opens with the title track right away - I gotta say I'm enjoying it a whole lot more than when I heard it for the first time on YT! Although Sophia's vocals still irritate me a bit, the other parts of the song make me totally forget this minor annoyance (or that there's a rehashed GazettE-like riff there in the beginning). This is an energetic, driving track full of what made me love MEJIBRAY in the first place: powerful and catchy music, explosive atmosphere... and a totally sick guitar solo-freakout part to top it off. Moving on to VIOLET. Wow, they weren't kidding when they said it would be in the vein of songs like Invisible Tower Maker or Black Baccarat. This is practically "part 2" of those, only maybe not as memorable or colorful. The instruments are pretty cool, I must admit, especially Koichi's bass and MiA's awesome guitar sound (those solos!) stand out to me. However, sadly, the vocals aren't too catchy here to hold my attention. All in all, an okay but average effort. WANT closes the single on a fast and furious note, with a punky edge. Apparently they had 30 people in the studio recording shouts for this, and all the vocals were done in one take. The raw/intense atmosphere definitely comes through, that's for sure. xD It's a pretty simple but effective little number that will surely fire up the crowd at a gig. I like how they went all-out with this, not having any melodic hooks or guitar solos for a change. Rockin' stuff! Overall I'm really pleased with this single! I was a bit afraid after Avalon that they would run out of ideas but this release helped me regain my faith a bit. It's not quite reaching the excellence of their first few singles but definitely getting there! Score: | an even and solid release with good replay value
