I've been digging these guys, but scaling back the synths on their new single really did wonders to their sound imo. The songs themselves are golden too. I feel like this is some of their best work yet! "link" especially made me nostalgic (totally has that 2003-2005-ish vk vibe, haha). I hope they'll release another longer record soon, maybe a mini album.

This is awesome, MUNIMUNI just uploaded snippets of their twoman gig with industrial/noise act KAOGANAI from back in 2019, they cover Kuroyume, BUCK-TICK and SOFT BALLET together (too bad it's not footage of the whole songs, but still cool!). ♥ ♥ ♥ Their next twoman gig is tomorrow btw.

Greatest preview in the history of previews.

Nice! Gonna buy it tonight when I get home~
-
Nice! They're pretty decent.
-
Holy shit, I didn't know they had a new album in the works. Just made my week, thanks! edit: the new song is great too. Can't wait!
-
Haha, agreed! Dropkick cop is no one to fuck with.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm the sound seems to be... Ains-ified a bit. Anyway, I love it!

Memories of Murder - I always wanted to check this one out, it was fine. Not the most mind-blowing Korean thriller ever, but it kept me interested all the way through and the characters were interesting. Really nice atmosphere and cool ending too.

I think (if I understood it right with the power of Google Translator, lol) they mentioned that the existing tickets would be good for the specific postponed dates. They also said that whoever cannot attend the new dates, their tickets can be refunded. Here's the full text: (they also mention that some of the gigs which are currently sold-out might have a few extra tickets available in the future, depending on how many ppl decide to refund their tix)

As it might have been expected due to the current virus outbreak, most of the gigs will be postponed: 2020/03/13 HOLIDAY NEXT NAGOYA → 2020/06/03 2020/03/14 HOLIDAY NEXT NAGOYA → 2020/06/04 2020/03/18 HOLIDAY SHINJUKU → 2020/05/18 2020/03/19 HOLIDAY SHINJUKU → 2020/05/19 The SHIBUYA WWW X live on 2020/04/04 will be held as planned, at least for now that's the case.

I've slowly developed a kind of fatigue for this band, always churning out those new releases... and while their songs are always kinda cool it's just so overwhelming. Well, I guess I'm gonna check this one out too, lol.
-
Sad to see this band probably going the tired/usual "drop one guitarist and have a backing track instead" route, but as long as the recorded music doesn't suffer I won't have any more complaints (it's not like I'll ever see them live after all, heh).
-
Okay, I officially can't keep up anymore, lol.
-
I think this would definitely deserve its own thread. Anyway, looking forward to it!!

Here's a snippet from the new track "Bang!" off of the upcoming "Holy Nights" album.
-
I'm speechless.

Speaking of killer new looks, here's another one for the two "black clothes-only" events in May, with an alterego name 羅苦餓鬼 (also read "Rakugaki"). The eroguro fanboy jumped out!

^ One of the band members makes the cover art if I'm not mistaken. He made some for their former band Tarantüla too, their musical output was equally great too (bit more on the HC punkish side).

You just click on "Buy Digital Album", fill in how much you want to pay for it (in this case 400 yen or more), then select credit card or PayPal and done.
-
I was so bummed that Tarantüla is no more, BUT looks like 3/4 of the band got together to rock on in a new group called Man-Eaters! And they're great! Here's their demo from last year as an appetizer: And hot off the press, their first full-length just released a few days ago! fffffuck this is my kinda shitttttt

Was nice to read your gig experience, @Visutox! Makes me wanna go to an underground extreme metal show again... I haven't been to one since god knows when. Vitriol and Gruesome will be playing here at the end of the month, I might make it to that one (tho the headliner is Krisiun whom I don't really know or care for). Anyway, since I'm here I might as well share my joy about the new Spectral Voice track that's out. Top graveyard death/doom filth as always! https://darkdescentrecords.bandcamp.com/track/spectral-voice-ineffable-winds Also on a random note, I somehow stumbled upon this young Austrian speed metal band Death Racer recently, fun rippin' stuff. The song title "Motormentor" alone made me wanna check their demo out, haha. Seems like they're going for a speeding-racing theme. https://deathracerspeed.bandcamp.com/releases

When they slowed down for that groovy chuggin' shoutalong part it was cool, but the rest could literally be copy-pasted from any other lynch track and I wouldn't even notice. Not that I expected anything different, lol. Still gonna check out the album.

Fuck yes, this looks like peak 2003-2005-ish kei. 👌👌👌
