Last movies I watched were Trainspotting and Blade Runner, they were both pretty good.

Yay! We seriously get no one though. Although apart from those mentioned GPKISM have been here too but assume thats only because Ken is from Australia, I've never really listened to them though. Would be a miracle if Versailles or any other band came here.

I have two tests today which I am not entirely ready for, and then next week enters the exam period.

I've only really listened to XA-VAT, Philia and Lotus from this year. XA-VAT was surprisingly good, as I had only heard snippets of their music and was a bit hesitant about it. Philia was alright, but not the best. I liked Lotus, but it wasn't the best either. Also from this year, Silent to my Pain by Lin was the first single that I actually kind of liked by them. Maximum the Hormone's new single was alright. Also I am one of those people waiting for Time, but I doubt that it will be out this year, though I'm not really complaining as it seems to have made some progress and will be out eventually (hopefully). And I haven't gotten around to listening to new Turisas as I am poor and can't be bothered downloading it. Also Highly anticipating Ghost and Deconstruction by Devin Townsend.

Why must I fail at writing essays? Stupid language analysis. And my holidays are nearly over.

Just finished The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, I thought it was a really good movie.

Summer Wars, was alright but the plot was kinda done before. But it was still entertaining and had its moments.

Got Ruun off a friend and have listened to it a few times now, I think it is a very good album.

Wintersun self titled (not particularly rare or anything but one of my favourites) Ensiferum - Ensiferum (same as above) MALICE MIZER - merveilles Versailles - JUBILEE (limited edition/first print) thats all I can think about really, don't really buy all that many albums.

Could someone recommend any similar bands to Rin Toshite Shigure? Japanese or non-japanese, doesn't matter. Also could you recommend songs/albums from recommended bands so that I have somewhere to start?

I liked Vertebrea, but from the 2004-2010 albums it was the one that impressed me the less. If I had to pick a fave (well, two, lol), RUUN and Ethica Odini are definetly the way to go. Either way, if you liked Vertebrae, there is really no reason why you should dislike the others. I just haven't got around to listening to their other stuff. Though I do think I have Ethica Odini on my computer, just haven't listened to it. Will get to it eventually though because they do seem like an interesting band.

I went out on a whim and bought Vertebrae, last year I think, it was pretty good. But I haven't really listened to anything other than that.

Finally got my Philia today.

Fight Club, was weird and kinda unexpected.

Was wondering if anyone knew where to find some SEX-ANDROID translated lyrics, I've tried looking around and cannot find any really. I am mainly looking for lyrics from ochanoma killer and Heisei Kotonakare Shugi. Would be much appreciated if anyone could help.

At least they come to your country, just saying. Would be a miracle for them to come down over here but even then I probably wouldn't be able to go. We only get a bunch of crap bands and when good bands come I can't go because most of them are 18+ events.

I hate it in songs when you can hear the same drum over and over throughout the whole song. Someone pointed it out in Royal Order by Lycaon and it practically made the album unlistenable to me. Just that same drum over and over, drives me insane. And fucking Blast beats, that gets really repetitive and annoying also.
