Well, currently I'm not watching anything but for the past three days I have been watching a lot of Skins. Finished season 1 and 2, but season 3 and 4 look a bit... I don't know the right word for it... stupid... but I prefer the people in Season 1 and 2 anyway.

When: Well, I've know about japanese music since I think around 2007, but that was only anime openings and such. Then I didn't bother until about 2 years later, 2009, I got into Maximum the Hormone. Didn't get into anything after that until December last year or maybe January this year. Where: Um, at my house How: Well when I was on Last FM one day I was bored and was clicking around on random profiles and someone had a picture of Versailles and they looked interesting so I tried them and HIZAKI grace project. But that was when I got into jrock Decemberish/Januaryish. Before it was just anime openings.

I hate it how people seem to forget that opinion is subjective... It's like no one can have their own opinion without being wrong and being criticized, but thats just my opinion

At the moment I'm loving ?????? they are really catchy, Rubi is one hell of a guitarist, Saran has some awesome Bass lines, and Emiru to me is a good vocalist that suits the music. I love merveilles (only album I have heard by Malice Mizer) everything about this is album is awesome, I love every song on there. I love Gackt (though only heard 2 albums and 1 single) I don't care that he is mega popular and has raging fangirls, its his music that matters to me not his fanbase and shit like that. and, er I suppose I like Versailles they got me into Visual Kei and stuff, so you know

But not all Oshare kei bands are talentless people just trying to be cute... such as Aicle, they are actually quite talented if you ask me.

I have no idea really... because before I got heavily into Jrock I listened to metal (folk, melodic death etc.) but before that I used to listen to anime openings and stuff because I was obsessed with anime. But it was an anime opening and ending that got me into metal (Maximum the Hormone lol) because before that I despised any music with screaming in it. Maximum the Hormone however showed me that it could be good so I got curious about other metal with screaming in it and you know progressed from there. So I would say if I had never listened to any Japanese music before I would still just listen to whatever was popular and on the Radio frequently. Which is all shit, so you know... Japanese music has done a bit for me lol.
