Sitting centered to the stage and on the floor level at an orchestra makes a WORLD of difference versus sitting towards the sides or on the balcony. So worth the extra price for the tickets.

Bruise the size of a baseball on my knee, skinned elbow, bruised knuckles, and scrapped up palm...sounds like a successful skate session .
