  3. =) Comme sa tu pourras t'améliorer. J'ai fait 4ans d'italien à l'école, mais j'ai presque tout perdu.

  4. So I've been frequenting a room on turntable.fm where a ton of KPOP is played everyday, and all I have to say is - anyone that listens to kpop and hates American mainstream pop/r&b/hip hop is a hypocritical cunt!

    My same thought. :D

  5. Not something Japanese though, but a Spanish song xD

Righeiro - Vamos a la Playa

never knew it was about the Cold War xD

    qCVQpcY1au4

    rough translation:

    Let's go to the beach

    The bomb has detonated

    due to the radiation

    we're getting a blue skin

    Let's go to the beach

    Put on a sombrero

    Cause the radioactive wind

will mess up all your hair

    Let's go to the beach

    The ocean is finally clean

    No stinking dead fish

    Only fluorescent water

LOL yes, yes, I'm looking for something like this xD

I agree on Isshi's and Temari's lyrics, those are always beautiful <3

I can't find a translation but Eat you alive's 'ADULT CHILDREN OF ALCOHOLICS' though generally express love to some woman, actually are addressed to one's mother who is an alcoholic

I am Italian and Vamos A La Playa is an Italian song even if it's sung in Spanish ^^' and the performer name is Righeira with final A XD

  6. I like the preview a lot! The songs seems heavy and well-built but it incorporates as well new elements, indeed it's not as dark as their first releases, but heavy and energetic in a "happy" way, which is really nice! I can't wait to listen to the full song, I am definitely looking forward to their new release.

  7. In both genres the look is really important, but the music can be totally different. Talking about the harder genres of vk, what can you find in common in a song by Dir en grey in their visual kei era like Zan or Schwein no Isu or Platonic Bitch by UnsraW with a kpop song? I personally think your sentence is way too generic.

  8. DIR EN GREY is one of the piooner of vk in the western scene (they're one of the first band who toured overseas), they inspired many actual bands (example: MERRY) and they did many masterpieces such as VULGAR or the most recent UROBOROS. Their technical skills are much better than GazettE's and their live performances are definitely more energetic and engaging, while GazettE care only about the appearances and the look. So, DEG wins for sure.

  9. The people that did the infamous shift from completely removing VK from their life and attaching themselves to K-Pop are morons though. I also say good riddance because these people were probably obnoxious, I mean some of these people are still obnoxious. Hanging around making sure everyone knows they don't like Japanese music and only K-pop. I don't see that here on MH but it pops up in the old Livejournal communities.

Here in Italy is FULL of this kind of people. These girls even dress Ullzang now and changed their universities studies from Japanese to Korean. They deleted all the proofs of their love for vk/jrock/Japan to dedicate completely to Kpop. They even talk you bad if you don't like Kpop because "you're racist, you like only Japanese stuff, why not Korean, you're not open minded, how can't you like dancing and going to disco" It's creepy.

I don't have problems if you like Kpop, it's your taste XD But I hate people who totally removes they past love for V-kei, because they would have never discovered Kpop if they first haven't listened to V-kei. Do they do this in order to seem "true" Kpop fans? I seriously don't get it. In my life before V-kei/Jrock I loved (and I still listen) other musical genres (pop-punk, nu metal, metalcore...) and I am not ashamed to say I have liked them and I still like some bands of these genres.

Anyway, talking about music, I personally think rock is definitely more original and serious since songs are written mostly by the band members and not by some random managers, lyrics are more deep and elaborated, concerts are less fake (less playback, less coreography with random hot asian guys). So it's ridicolous to say that K-pop is for older girls because yeah, they're usually older, but many of them are more immature indeed. They behave like a 13-years old fangirl when they're 20-23, meh.

  10. I don't care if visual kei is considered dead or totally changed because musical genre can't die, they just lose their popularity. And change happens. So I'll just enjoy my favourite bands, visual kei or not, which made a progress during their career and didn't follow the trend of the season, like the majority of neo-vk bands.

For example, MUCC is a band who can't be categorized. They explored many musical and stylistic genres because they love music. Many bands just stick with a genre and do repetitive songs. I think that's why I can't enjoy new bands: almost all the songs sound the same to me.

I think we all should care about our favourite bands and not about the whole genre. We can't say "I love visual kei" because that would mean we love ALL the bands which use that term to identify themselves. If V-kei will be identified as Futurism Boyz and so on, I can't call myself a fan of V-kei, but a fan of Mucc, Plastic Tree, girugamesh and so on *insert fav. bands here*

  11. Due to my musical change taste and consequent money needs to buy more CDs I actually want, I am selling almost all my old vk collection. More stuff to come so please check out :D

Anyway, I am gyakutai, I've just changed account. Surprise XD but I guess someone already knew it The old post sale was this one
