I read in an interview with Sena that he writes the lyrics in Japanese and then translates them to English the best way he can, but sometimes changes words to make them sound cooler. So I'm guessing this is a "lost in translation" moment and I'm guessing that it was just a typo. He does love bringing up faith and religion, so it could have a Biblical meaning, but the book of Ruth is all about accepting a God and I don't see anything like that in Ajna, nor is her name capitalized. Hence my assumption that it was just a typo. And hey, at least he censored himself! And if you haven't seen the MV for Lethal Affliction yet, there's lots of cheeky middle fingers tossed up that make me grin every time.

Well he did write all of the bass parts until Akinori joined.

I've transcribed the lyrics from their latest single. The lyrics for the SgVer of Ajna are slightly different from the earlier released version on Xenomorphic. All spacing is a replication of how it is printed in the liner notes with the exceptions of what's in the brackets and further noted in red text. 1. Ajna –SgVer- 2. M.A.D

Well this is a great start to the new year ... I got back from my vacation and had to say good-bye to my girlfriend as she flew back home to find that I no longer had a job. New Year ... new life ... or death. I'm not okay ...

I finally got my copy of Devil's Proof and the signed poster that came from Tower Records. The boys have changed up their autographs since I saw them at their first oneman in October of last year. Seiya's signature is more legible, Daiki has gone from signing a weird face to actually writing his name and for some reason Hiroto signed "omusubi" (rice ball) instead of his name. I'm glad I have the poster, but the quality of the print is kind of poopy, with the logo being super pixelated. Other intriguing stuff for those who haven't bought a copy yet, the boys are using their names in romaji now, in comparison to their previous releases where they used kanji. Also, all of the songs and lyrics from Purge were written by Seiya with the help of Keisuke on some, but Daiki wrote the lyrics and music with the help of Seiya on DESTINATION and Keisuke wrote the intro track "Devil's Proof" with a credit to Яyo Trackmaker. Also, is there any interest in me transcribing the lyrics? I did it for Ruin as well as a few songs on PURGE, but didn't really see any response, so I'm curious if it's worth my time.

Us on the outside will never know the severity or the details behind Akinori or Umebo's arrests. Their cases could be completely different (say the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony), so I think it's difficult to compare the two without knowing these details. Let's just be happy that Akinori is back and leave it at that. The link posted above has a great quote from Umebo's new band's vocalist regarding his return to the scene: "[...] look, he ain’t no murderer nor an idol on TV commercials. He’s just a badly behaved death metal musician who might have stepped just a bit across the red line. And for that, he’d been socially punished and brought to justice. So, if you still want him to receive punishment, I say you do that personally."

Just say no to autotune.

You're joking, right? It took them six years to find a bassist that they liked enough to have him be an actual member of the band ...

I'm sorry, I didn't state that their release schedule was lacking. We were all speculating on their artist thread that this was probably going to be the end soon.

Well, it was kind of expected given their lack of activity lately. It still sucks to hear, though.

Everything this band has put out has been golden. I have very little complaints and I'm loving the fact that they're releasing works online for the (international) masses, even going so far as to subtitle their songs in English. I only wish I could have found Hunger when I was in Japan. I'm pretty sure that both The Dead Sea and Imitation are available internationally through iTunes, so if you like them, want to support them and have $6 to spend, do yourself and the band a favor and buy them both.

Don't let others discourage you. Your taste is VKBrutalian! If it's VK and slightly brutal, you're in. I don't see eye-to-eye with some of the things you like, but our taste overlaps on a good portion of the bands you like.

What's your occupation that allows you to get all of this dope music all the time?! I wish I had that kind of cash flow, dude!

Seriously. I don't really like this band, but I didn't go to the trouble to pitch shift the vocals to make it more to my liking. What's the point? Just walk away!

@-Tetsu-everything about that haul is great! I really wish I was able to obtain dexcore's hunger when I was in Japan, but they didn't have any copies at the shops I went to. How much did those old D'espa singles set you back?
